As a child, Jen lived on the streets of [capital city] with her adopted sister Roseis, who found 4-year-old Jen scrounging in an alley and took her under her wing. They survived on their wits, stealing for food and conning nobles out of their jewels. When Jen was 11 and Roseis was 19 they were trapped in a warehouse fire. The sisters were rescued by two paladins of Sappho, the patron god of lesbians, and they escaped but not without burn scars to remind them of that fateful night. The paladins took them in and set them on the path to becoming paladins in their own right. By the time Jen turned 19 she was a full-fledged paladin happily living with her adopted sister and moms, and ready to set out on an adventure of her own.
