 | His name used to be Hazan which was a random word I pulled out of my butt in the fresh year of 2013. then one day I found out that that is in fact a real word. and it means a Leader of Jewish Prayer. and well. that is the worst coincidence possible for a character who is a satanic cult leader. his name is azzan now Azzan is the intimidating main antagonist hellbent on nothing but the sacrifice of his universe to Scourge He is hyperfocused and determined. He has forgone all interests, hobbies, and perhaps even the very personality of who he was prior to the Bleed, opting instead to give all that he is to the worship of Scourge. He views Scourge religiously, seeing him as a holy and glorious force superior to their universe; as the lead interpreter of Scourge's vision, he is in turn revered as a saint among the Wounded and they obey his every command. He tends to be calm, collected and brutal. He speaks as if he has mercy but acts with none. He treats others with a calm and firm demeanor, faltered by very little; yet though he appears well-composed in public, the gradual mental decay he faces and the suppression of his humanity tends to culminate in slight hints of mental instability. He can occasionally seem like he's about to lose his shit with barely-contained rage, but is usually quick to recompose himself. When alone, he is prone to short-lasting fits of panic or frenzied confusion. Appearance He is a 21-27 year old boy with medium-dark skin and dark hair, though he is always covered up in a leather hooded jacket with his face hidden by a gas mask. He has big ass boots. Bloodstains often cover his neck, as his Wound is located under his chin. However when it comes to the view of other characters, viewers are unable to make sense of his appearance due to his presence being swarmed with toxic Scourgian energy. Looking at him enhances the effects of Scourge's corrosive, possession-hungry powers, racking their minds with visual and auditory hallucinations that cause them to perceive Azzan as if he is surrounded by terrifying, lovecraftian visuals. The hallucinatory terror imposed upon viewers by his aura demands that his enemies look away lest they become transfixed, which makes it incredibly difficult to fight against him despite him being an osteoporosis-riddled scrawny cunt who would probably shatter if you punched him. Despite being greatly weak due to the physical decay imposed by Scourge's possession, his hallucinatory aura can disarm his foes without any need for strength. To those sensitive to Scourgian energy, Azzan's presence can be detected from miles away by the sensation of a pounding headache which fluctuates to the pattern of Azzan's heartbeat instead of one's own; the intensity and perceived drumming sound that accompanies this sensation has resulted in the nickname "Thunder" given to him by Yoa. This drumming sound can be overwhelmingly migraine-inducing, all around making his mere presence both terrifying and painful. |
