Personailty
While he was very different as a child, nowadays Istaqa is a very reserved man. He doesn't go outside his comfort zone very often and you'd be hard pressed to find him exploring something new. He's a bit of a bookworm and computer geek, with a bit of an interest in hacking. Rather melancholy most of the time, especially on his own, but he tries his best not to bring people down if they're already in a good mood.

Story
All his early life, Istaqa was attached to his twin's hip. They shared everything and he thought there would never be a time where they weren't close. While he knew Firefly was unhappy, it still caught him offguard when they disappeared. This loss threatened to destroy him and for several years, Istaqa rarely left his room, let alone the house.
While he's still heavily affected by Firefly's disappearance, it's been eleven years now and Istaqa is finally trying to learn how to move on and become his own person. It isn't easy and he's never stopped missing his twin, but it's the little steps that count.
Relationships
Istaqa's twin, who he hasn't seen in eleven years. He thinks about them every day and never stops hoping that they'll either come home, or he'll be brave enough to go searching for them himself.
Istaqa's mother, they love one another, but they aren't exactly close. Alicia's very much an extrovert, and Istaqa's very much an introvert, so they just can't seem to communicate with each other in a way that works for them both.
Istaqa's other parent, who he is closer to. They spend many evenings in companionable silence, reading books in the living room together.
