Born on the coasts of Scatterstone along with his brother Ronan, Lorcan chose to stay, feeling a responsibility to his many neighbours that were struggling to find food. Starting a dangerous yet lucrative seal-hunting operation, he suddenly became the biggest food source in the isles, ignorant to the pleas of the superstitious Wenwall colony who claimed that shedding seal blood would curse him.
