Ainsley was a hard working farmer. His blaide sharp as ever to cut wheats and legs strong from walking up and down to his fields on the mountain plateaus. He always found time to socialise with others, and have a drink or two with his mates. The hardworking stallion was loyal to his Chief and town, even when the Chief began to withdraw from his daily tasks and the town had to fend for themselves. When destruction reigned and he and his herd saw their town be destroyed in front of their eyes, Ainsley made sure to save as many equines as he could from the floods of lava and ash. Now he finds himself working day in day out on the fields in a new town far away. Sometimes he looks a the mountains in the distance and is reminded of all the equines he could not save. He keeps to himself and does not mingle with the townfolk, nor does he party on holidays. If he is not working or sleeping, his mind draws back to that one fateful day which destroyed all he knew. If only he had worked harder, done more, saved more equines, maybe then he would not feel this sorrow.
