slow & steady wins the race. once racyelle can catch up to you, you’re dead meat! fighting is everything to her and she has spent her entire life training to protect. she can often be more ambitious than what she is capable of.

An honored and respected knight of early-medieval France. She resided in Fort Carcassonne in which she served as a member of the royal guard. She has a traditional set of thinking and maneuvers through life much like she does on the battlefield—through a set of strict codes and strategies. She is tight-lipped and serious, only really letting her emotions escape when in the name of competition.

racyelle is first and foremost a protector of people. Her headstrong nature and bravery in the face of adversity are both qualities that lead her to never turn a blind eye to someone in danger. She has a soft spot for individuals that resemble people from her own time period especially. Although Paradise is teaching her there is often more than meets the eye, she still has a very black and white view of the world; by her mighty sword evil shall be vanquished so that good will prevail!

while racyelle may have forged meaningful and trusting relationships with her new-found-family in the bastions, she will always feel allegiance to carcassonne. her first and only love, princess blanche, has permanently left a hole within her heart. racyelle may never love in that way again, but the love she has for her friends grows stronger and brighter every day. perhaps it isn’t exactly like the love she felt for her princess, but she refuses to let it burn out.

Relationships

• the bastions - her squad of companions. her relationship with each one differs but she considers most of them her most trusted allies. she lives for them and dies for them and at the end of the day her allegiance to them is unwavering. she feels particularly drawn to the main party members but also to Prince Ferdinand, Nilly, and Adonica. 
• the voice - racyelle resonates strongly with the voice's principals and looks up to the fellow ascended. she believes in the voice's mission and morals. if it came down to picking a political leader in which racyelle wholly aligned to, it would be the voice. 
• nri - racyelle may align herself strongly with the voice, nri has become a surprisingly close friend. racyelle can't help but feel some sort of attachment to the god but fears overstepping her boundaries
• princess cateline -  granddaughter of her beloved. feels the insatiable need to protect her but has found that, even though she may look like blanche, they are nothing alike and any fluttery feeling racyelle may have had towards her in the beginning has been quelled. she is family.  
• mona blades - leader of the fellow talamh de merc group. they have a friendly rivalry. racyelle respects her but would never say so out loud. perhaps one day they can be friends.
• vadanya - her superior in the stone hide knights. the two have become somewhat close and racyelle considers her a friend. they've spent quite a bit of time on the road together and have learned to trust each other as fellow fighters.
