Water was the second born in the flames family, he was mostly quiet as a kid and kept close to Blaze, especially when their parents died. Blaze looked after him and Soul, til Water had to start looking after Soul for a while since Blaze seemed to grow distant at times and focus on his own school work, Thunder and his brother, Leaf would help Water at times.
When he started to go back to school, Leaf was his only friend and guide as Water became a target for bullying mostly, Even Thunder bullied him once to gain the trust of some sort of group of friends, and also watched awkwardly as his group went after Water, which Blaze caught note of and cut his friendship with Thunder at the time. Thunder apologized many times to Water, and he accepted it, despite Blazes complaints. Throughout high school, Leaf and Water soon started to date and kept dating even throughout college.
Water still lived with Blaze and Soul, and unfortunately was a victim to one of Slushies murders, while he was out near the river. And lived on as a angel.
