"I... look up to her, I guess? But, it might be more than that. She's everything I wish I could be, even if she doesn't see it. She's such a strong person... A-Also, I guess I wouldn't mind hugging her a whole lot. That's not weird, is it?!" OkuHaru (奥春 / オクハル OkuHaru), also known as HaruAsu or PsiLatte, is the pairing between Haru Okumura and Asuna Harukawa from Persona 5. HistoryPersona 5 [[ tba ]] Relationship"[ there's a quote here ]" [ there are so many notes that need to be sorted out holy shit;; as a romanticist at heart, Haru really reminds Asuna of many strong heroines she's read about in books and that she kinda desired to be. yeah, that wasn't exactly the easiest since she's not exactly the most mentally strong person and never could go against her mother. watching Haru throughout her father's palace made her notice that she kind of showed the qualities of someone she wished she could become. in Asuna's head, Haru was the type of person she would envision herself being saved by as silly as it is. is it love at first sight? kinda hard to say, but there was something that made Asuna want to reach out to her. well, aside from the whole shitty fiance thing since that was something she wanted to take care of as just a decent person. Asuna is someone who doesn't really know what it means to be in love, having to take the time throughout the story to learn this for herself; Haru is someone she's found very easy to talk to about anything, much like how it is with Akira. if anything, their relationship is really built on mutual trust and understanding of one another, both of them doing their best to be there for the other and support them through any trouble they may have. whether it be tea/coffee meetings, small shopping trips, or just time during school, they always find a way to brighten the other's day. Haru does what she can to help Asuna figure out what path she wants to take and Asuna tries her best to support Haru through all of the tough decisions she has to make regarding her father's company and legacy. it's also really silly because Asuna comments a lot on how pretty she thinks Haru is to other people but can never actually say it to her face. love is hard man, especially when the only thing you really know about love is kinda making assumptions and reading trashy romance novels and shoujo manga/anime. though with help she does learn little by little and can eventually go from "this person is an ideal" to "this is someone I legitimately can't see living without in one way or another" as things progress. but actually telling her is a different story since she doesn't really know how the girl feels or even if she likes girls in the first place [ notes? yeah, notes ]
Future[[ notes :: yeah they're probably at different universities, but that doesn't mean they don't make time for each other. honestly, Asuna probably finally got up the courage to confess to her either during their freshman or sophomore year of college depending on if people can push her enough to do it. they're so fucking sweet they still love doing their little tea/coffee dates but now they're actual dates and Asuna is fucking screaming on the inside because she still can't believe Haru agreed to date her weird ass. i also like to think that if Haru does open up a cafe in the future like she plans, Asuna would happily play music there, or even just do whatever she needs to just to help her girlfriend out in any way she can (´∀`)♡ Asuna's working to publish little short stories in the mean time, and one of them she may or may not admit be a fictitious retelling of how she met her friends and the love of her life ]] Children [[ notes :: they have one son in the form of a little baby bean named Momiji. he's a very soft boy that loves fashion uvu Asuna's on and off piano playing in their house actually got him interested, but she had the hardest time agreeing to thinking of teaching him when he asked. she just thought back to her mother so many times and wanted to avoid any way of her repeating her mistakes. luckily Haru's around to help ease her worries and says that it could be good for both of them, so they take it one step at a time to not overwhelm either of them ]] PlaylistFallen Angel — Mitsunori Ikeda ft.
