Brandon was born to a fairly traditional family, traditional primarily in the sense of gender roles. However, Brandon would often violate these gender roles by letting his hair grow out and being physically affectionate with other boys. His father would often verbally and physically abuse him for this, which his mother couldn't stop on account of being at work from the AM to the PM. His Grandma, however, would sometimes be able to stop his father and was Brandon primary support in his childhood.
