Backstory

Máire was born into an old family of merchants. As the second-oldest, she was stuck watching as her older sibling, Hánsa, was trained to eventually take the place as the CEO of the family company, a chain of grocery stores in Lightmore, despite obviously not having any interest in it. Eventually Hánsa and Máire managed to convince their father that Máire would be better as the successor, which was a huge relief for Máire and Hánsa both.
