Obsidian enjoys having fun, and will do almost anything to bring a fun time to fruition. In his work, he likes to play around color-coding his code and naming the variables silly things. In his personal life, he likes to hang out with friends and go on small adventures. He's often regarded as the life of the party. The only problem with all of this is that Obsidian tires himself out incredibly quickly. He keeps his days out short so that he doesn't get trapped somewhere once he's exhausted. At work, he has to take many breaks to step back and recharge. After a long day of a lot of work and an equal amount of play, it's not uncommon to find Obsidian passed out on his couch.
