Hiro's younger brother. Tetsu and Hiro studied under Teshin, along with several other Tenno from the Zariman.
Tetsu originally piloted a Volt, but refused to connect with it after a transference error, in which his Volt gained a mind of its own, and tried to hurt Tetsu. Though he would not be able to continue his training, he found it too uncomfortable to even be near the Volt. Only after Hiro's death did Tetsu consider transference again, though this time it was with his late brother's Nekros.
Tetsu believes that Hiro lives on through his Nekros, and that Hiro speaks to him when they are connected.
