Angera is quick and cheery , but brave. He doesn't get many chances to show it , but he would gladly sacrifice himself for his friends and family, being more than happy to protect them all.
Angera is a very positive person, usually very optimistic and energetic. He is very sympathetic, but isn't always great at reading the room and it can sometimes take somebody verbally telling him they're unhappy before he realizes. When he does know somebody is unhappy he'll try his hardest to cheer them up, and is overall quite good at being effective at this. When he himself gets upset, he gets very upset- he will go from his usual energetic self to not wanting to even stand up or even speak. When he gets upset it's very difficult to cheer him up, and it can take him days before he feels better.
Angera hatched 22 years ago in The Hive. He hatched female, and realized very early on that he wanted to be seen as and thought of as the opposite gender. However, due to the female-preferring nature of his part the Hive, he opted to not vocalize these feelings, fearing it may anger his parents and peers when he was already born the 'better' gender. He instead opted to simply ignore these feelings and try his hardest to pretend he enjoyed being female. These repressed feelings led to him growing up extremely unhappy, and eventually got so bad that he ran away from the hive at 18. Angera eventually ended up in the Vibrant Wastelands. He ended up accidentally burning one of his antenna, and met Vyra when she came to help bandage the burn. The two became close very quickly, and both eventually discovered they wanted to transition to the opposite gender. This realization of not being 'crazy' allowed both to come to terms with these feelings, and with the help of Vyra's many connections with a slew of artificers and scientists, both were able to change to the gender they wanted to. Angera has now been dating Vyra for 2 years. The two are extremely close, and almost are never seen apart from each other. They now live in the Iridescent Meadow with the rest of their friend group.

Though he is perfectly capable of creating fire unattached to a source, Angera prefers to source his fire from several-year-old firecrackers. When a threat arises, he typically throws these firecrackers at it.
A spell that summons flames. It works better if the flames are created on a source object, but can also be created simply in the air. These flames can be dissipated, but if they begin to spread, the summoner will only be able to dissipate the fire they made, not any fire that has spread as a result.
Being a moth, Angera can fly.
Angera's girlfriend of two years. They are extremely close, and do almost everything together.
A very close friend of Angera's. Being the friend group's unofficial 'leader', she typically is the one who decides what Angera and the rest of the group are doing, and is also responsible for things the others don't want to worry about, like finding food and materials.
Being the cause of the Infection, and trying to infect him, Angera naturally does not like her.
