[ HISTORY ]

PAST

  • Little was born and raised in small village towards the north-east of Ward'en during a time of relative unrest before the war. His mother - Lysandr - was guardian of the village and was beloved by its residents, having spent many centuries protecting her territory and ensuring the safety of those that resided there. This is how she met Little's father - Lukah Falone - attempting to sneak across her the border undetected.

Little spent many of his early years being doted on by his parents and the village residents - he especially loved playing with the village children and listening to the elders tell stories. He especially loved tales of adventure and daring - his father in particular had travelled the continent and spent many years in an adventuring party, so had plenty of stories to tell (not all of them appropriate for a wyrmling to hear!). As he grew, he learned to read and discovered there were many more stories contained in books and scrolls - his mother had a few in her hoard and when returning from business around the continent, his father often brought gifts of books.
When the war broke out in earnest, his father left to help defend his home city and Little and his mother remained behind in the village. the area that they resided in declared a neutrality very quickly into the fighting, but that did not stop soldiers and marauders from passing through and raiding nearby towns and villages. All too soon, their village became the target of attacks, especially when the warring forces became aware of the natural mineral resources in the area and the identity of its guardian. In one of the final assaults, the village was razed to the ground, the inhabitants killed or captured and Lysandr badly injured - she fled the ruins of their home with little and sought out sanctuary in the nearby Temple of the Psion. The severity of her injuries were so great that she passed very shortly after her arrival and was laid to rest in the graveyard, despite the monks attempts to save her.

The fate of his father unknown, Little was taken in by the monstary where he was cared for by the members of the temple as best as they could. They had very little experience in how to raise a dragon, but under their continued tutelage and with access to their vast library, Little learned many things and continued to develop (luckily, the halls of the temple were easily able to accomodate a growing dragon).

Many, many years passed and Little eventually grew restless living in the monastery. While everyone was kind and many interesting scrolls and books were located in the temple, he soon itched to go and explore the world, but was also scared of venturing outside the walls of his home and into the unknown. It took him a few months of planning and lots of encouragement by the temple residents, but eventually he departed and went out to 'pursue his true calling in life'.

PRESENT

  • After having left the monastery, he travelled between cities before finding himself a job as a courier in the City of Dawn. Currently he delivers parcels and letters to residents of the city, but finds himself longing for something more exciting and fulfilling to do.

[ MISC ]

  •  Lives at The Docks in the City of Dawn. Resides there with his manager and friend, Hera..
  • Hoards scrolls and tomes.
  • His nickname, 'Little' is derived from 'Little One', something that his parents used to call him often.
    • His father was a human. He is very secretive about this fact, for a number of reasons, but particularly as he is unsure as to how individuals would react given the prejudice some hold towards humans in the wake of the war. He'd rather not risk it.
    • His cheek spines were broken during the raid on his village.
