DescriptionThe oldest, most fucked up dragon of all.
ACT THREE
The first of the dragons, it had been in many conflicts with the cats of the Monarchy in the past, resulting in becoming a branding mass of heads, each representing a strike against it. Eventually, the cats seemed to disappear, and it rested in the ocean to avoid detection.
After hundreds of years, it started to pick up the scents again. The cats were now in a flying citadel, which routinely circled the globe. It attacked a scout, who only had enough time to shoot off a flare before getting eaten. Within the hour, it was confronted by another dragon, a cat who smelled of royalty, and a descendant of the Devil.
While the descendant spoke of peace, and requested it stop eating cats, she was not the Devil themself, and it still felt a lot of rage. It attacked, and the counter was not sufficiently impressive. It gave chase, ignoring attempts at communication, and was fired upon by the Citadel. The blasts came from far enough away that they were largely ineffective, so it had no trouble powering up a bigger blast to try and wipe the whole thing out in one shot.
It couldn’t see behind the mass of shadows it was forming, and while this was the case, the descendant swiped all of the hellfire powering the Citadel out from under it, only to replace it after it had avoided the fire and was under the offending dragon. With the sudden surge in power, the Citadel shot up and caught the ancient giant in its chopper blades. It lost an arm and its tail from this, and fell back into the ocean.
While it was recovering, the cats regrouped to formulate a strategy. It was given the name Screwdriver in these talks.
Once Screwdriver had grown a second tail of heads and a second arm of heads, it returned. They were prepared this time, but having more cats and dragons in the fight made for more easy targets. Much death and destruction was accomplished, and Screwdriver nearly killed a royal cat, but she was rescued.
The Devil arrived, but even she could not quell the rampage. She, with the help of the others, dragged Screwdriver into Hell where she could understand its soul. Screwdriver’s many heads had differing motivations and opinions, which Shade identified as the reason it was so hard to talk down. Screwdriver questioned why the Devil would want to talk it down; it had been created by the Devil in an act of wrath against the Monarchy. Screwdriver’s entire being was formed of this rage. But Shade explained that she’d gotten over the initial incident, and the cats alive today had nothing to do with it. Despite this, Screwdriver could not shake its purpose, and lashed out at its creator, and escaped.
Not long after emerging from Hell, however, Shade called on the spirits to drag it back in. After mustering her own strength, she pulled it in with them, and escaped with the cats, leaving Screwdriver lost alive in Hell.
Tsunami, a dragon researcher, had sympathy for Screwdriver’s condition, and went back to Hell with Shade. Screwdriver, having no concept of the time that had passed, was subdued and operated on, the duo removing heads and suturing the wounds instead of allowing them to grow back. Losing most of its conflicting minds and being full of anaesthetic, Screwdriver finally accepted the present as one of peace, and returned to the Citadel with them.
Not everyone was exactly chuffed to see Screwdriver again, but they brought it along to the funeral of an old friend, and had its help incinerating her body along with its own discarded heads. From there, it began to integrate into society, starting with learning some nu metal songs from the young dragon it was first confronted by and his weird cat friend.
