Thatch

Thatch was raised by his mother till one day she got sick and could no longer care for him. His life from then on was turned upside down, he was shipped off to the Caribbean with little to no warning. He learned quickly why his father was never around, too busy playing pirate, looting ships, plundering towns, and being drunk.

Given little to no choice Thatch was forced to travel with his father and worked on his pirate ship, quite literally learning the ropes to be one of the best pirate's to come. His father was always mean to him, calling him names and kicking him off the ship. Thatch endured it all honing his skills and waiting for the right moment, The perfect moment to stage a mutiny and steal his father's ship.

Thatch started off as a swabbie on his father's ship at a young age, but after the mutiny and stealing his ship, he ended up being the youngest pirate captain known on the seven seas. He soon met a Pirate by the name of Amaro Davenport who, a captain himself taught Thatch even more about what it mean's to be a captain.

As the years went by Thatch became more and more feared. But he was also cocky, due to his smug youthful attitude he nearly got caught once but was saved by Amaro. From then on he started using muliple Aliases to try and keep the autorities off his trail, and it's worked so far! Earning him the title of the most cunning captain of the seven seas.

Thatch's Bad Luck Magic has many uses but his most favorite one's being the ability to the darkest desire's of those around him and forcing them to act upon those desire's. He also enjoy's using his magic to get other's lost at sea.

His magic however has a drawback to it, if he tries to influence too many people at a time he may end up falling for his own darkest desire's or getting his own ship lost at sea. So far however his crew has always been able to bring him back from the edge of his own nearly self inflicted destruction. But can they always save him? Only time will tell.
