Genghis Baatar

✦ Appearance

Similar to those in his breed, he is a large and extremely furry dog, his fur making him look much larger than he is. That isn't to say that he isn't a large creature though, as he stands high over most others. His fur is mostly a dark grey, which markings of a medium brown mixed in. Said coloration can be found on his legs, tail and face. The ones on his front legs covers his toes and the back side of his legs while the back legs colors the toes and the front side of his legs with a spot in his back end. The tip of his tail as well as the back of his tail where it curls over his back is also colors. His full muzzle down a little past his chin is also colors, which deep green eyes shining through.

✦ Personality

The man is very quiet and calm, a silent protector who prefers to stay alone and watch over his flock rather then making friends. Because of that though, he tends to over work himself, choosing to hunt for his pack and help them rather than sleeping or eating for himself. He only eats once a day though, and tends to confuse many wolves with that. His pack is his flock and he will fight to the last breath to protect them.

He was born on a farm, a pup in a large litter that he doesn't even remember. What he does remember though is training from a young age. He was put out with chickens and sheep and was taught how to protect, how to guard from even an early age. Upon the time he was 8 weeks old, he was picked up by a different set of humans, taken to his new home. There, he was placed in the mountains, given a large flock of sheep to guard with his life, and that he did.

Most of his adolescence was the same, living in the mountains with the sheep he protected and fighting off wolves and coyotes when he needed to. Every few weeks he would see his human masters and had a pretty good relationship with them. He didn't mind being left alone, having a rather independent streak as long as he need to protect was satiated.

He did his job, and he did it well, until one night everything took a turn for the worse. The winter had been extra tough that year and one night while the sheep slept, a pack of wolves approached. Valiantly Genghis fought them off to protect his flock, successfully killing several and running the others off. However, his injuries were severe, much too severe to travel down the mountain to find his humans. And so, he chose to spend his last moments with his flock, surrounded by the sheep he vowed to protect as they now protected him while he bled out, finally succumbing to his injuries.
