Appearance

Basil is a short (5’4”) chubby pale-skinned man with short ginger hair and pale green eyes. He wears circular glasses.

He often wears warm comfortable clothes, such as loose t-shirts under coats and slacks. He’s often seen with a pin on his coat and a scarf around his neck.

Personality

Basil is a man who keeps to himself, not out of dislike of other people but simply its in his nature. However, this lack of interaction has stunted his social skills, something that he regrets. Despite this, he is decent at faking it, as he works as a librarian. However, if you speak his language you’ll find a fast language, and that language is books. He’s a loyal if awkward friend. He’s a good listener, even if he can’t help and will listen to every word. He throws himself one hundred into whatever interests him. He gets easily stressed out by exciting activities and this, tends to stick to mellower ones.

History

Basil’s life has been easy and overall nice. His parents were understanding (and maybe even enabling) of his skittish tendencies. He went through school and college and had an easier time than most due to his good memory. Now, life finds him a librarian who is perfectly content with his job. He comes home from books to books as he is a self-proclaimed book hoarder.

He’s found a friend in Yuuto, after he helped him in the library.

Skills

He has a good memory, as demonstrated by his memorization of the Dewey Decibel system and the various trivia he knows.

Due to how well-read he is, he knows a lot of things but mostly miscellaneous trivia.
