Profile
Agnes is a light browned haired avian with long straight feat haired white wings. She is relatively small, even for her species. Her eyes are a crystal bright blue which tend to shine. Despite her small figure, she is extremely muscled and toned. Her wings can carry a large amount of weight due to this.
She holds her self casually and with confidence. Her gestures are usually loud and expressive and she wears her heart seemingly on her sleeve.
- Very short. Avians are short already, she is short even for her species.
- Always wears her hair up.
- Her wings are very expressive and she doesn't always have full control on what they express
- Her wings are long and thin, allowing her to fly very fast but not for long.
Agnes is a bubbly and optimistic character with a bright attitude. From an outsider's perspective, she may seem naive and childish. However, this could be further from the truth. Agnes has extreme social intelligence and navigates conversations and meetings with strategy. Many of her peers know to approach with cautious else they get stuck in a bad situation.
Even though Agnes is quite skillful in deception and trickery, she isn't all that bad as a person. She holds very high morals and refuses to break them even in the most tense situations. These morals have been passed down to her by her mentor who she holds in high regard. She refuses to kill and attempts to resolve conflicts with peace and communication. She barely resorts to violence and even when forced so, she attempts to find a way out.
Her pacifist attitude and optimistic hopeful outlook on the world leads to many conflicts with her peers who become more jaded through time. Her goals and ambitions seem childish and unrealistic. Even with all the critiques, Agnes refuses to let her goals of a better world go.

Agnes was adopted at a very early age by Alistair. At the time, Alistair was a well renowned Northernland courier who worked for the council in delivering important news and messages. He was very well liked and charismatic. So when he adopted a small avian girl, people couldn't be more excited.
Agnes grew up in a small very loving environment. Her father, Alistair was often busy but Agnes was never alone. Townspeople, family friends, relatives. They would all come over to take care of the sweet girl Alistair had adopted. She grew up to have a very large social circle as a result.
As she grew, she had come to learn of her origins.
Previously, the northern-half of The Union was occupied with Avians. After the annexation of the Waipan Islands, this land was taken from many of the Avians and conflicts between Union citizens and Avians began to occur.
Agnes' family had lived with the current Northernlands guard, Nathaniel, who protected them in his home. However, growing hostility between the two groups ended up in a political nightmare for him and Agnes' family was forced to flee. However, it was too late and Agnes was left in the hands of Nathaniel. Already in political hot water due to keeping an Avian family within his home, he passed on Agnes to a dear friend, Alistair, who adopted her officially.
Upon learning of her origins, Agnes began her journey as Northernlands head guard. Finally leaving her small town home, she attended a government owned institution for government education. There she experienced discrimination as well as forming friends and alliances. Showing extreme promise and expertise, Agnes rose up the ranks quickly. However, she also gained many enemies and dislike due to her fast growth.
Through her work, she met Fletcher. He was a born and raised Union citizen who rose the ranks similar to her. At first, they bonded well and became friends. However, as they moved away towards different goals in life, they also grew apart.
Finally once again meeting Nathaniel, Head guard of the Northernlands, the man took her under his guidance and after his retirement, Agnes became The Northernlands Head Guard.
She continues to work for the North, building relations and later met her right hand man, Jonah. Her rivalry with Fletcher continues as well as the Union slowly entered a civil war.
- Likes the ocean, hates eating fish
- Her feathers are seen as commodities so her coworkers collect her shedding feathers at times
- Only Avian working for the government, many of her own species don't really like her.
Alistair is one of the very few people Agnes is fully open and loves very much. Having been taken care of by him from a very young age, Agnes sees him as a father figure and someone to emulate.
She barely mentions him as his death still affects her greatly but every step and action she takes is directly connected back to him.
Jonah is her sweet student and right hand man! She sees so much potential in him and places much of her confidence in his future. She spends much of her time trying to improve his confidence and build him up to a great person in the future.
Despite all the affection she holds for her right hand man, she doesn't recipricate his romantic feelings.
Agnes' relationship with Fletcher is shakey at best. She doesn't hold ill will towards the man. In fact, she somtimes seeks him out for a friendly battle. However, she doesn't appreciate his more pessimistic aggressive approach to problems. But dissagreements are dissagreements and Agnes knows she wont agree with everyone.
They both end up as rivals in most situations, both having opposite ideas and solutions. As such, animosity grows between them both.
