 A sweet, hospitable, and friendly vampel. He lives up to his warm, angelic appearance.

 The founder of The Cult, and acts as its face. He does a lot of the socializing, reassuring, and preaching to initiates.

 Holds no ill will towards humans. In fact, he does feel guilt over having to kill them despite inherently enjoying feeding. As a result, his own mindset regarding his coven is a bit skewed—while Sylvester, for example, recognizes it for what it is, Nathaniel believes that he's doing the humans a service by giving them a loving family and a fulfilling purpose to serve. He wants it to be a welcoming and genuine community, often pushing away any indication that it's not. He refuses to see it

 This is also the reason that he doesn't like to kill off human cult members and instead uses them to retrieve unrelated victims for feeding. He's very attached to the vampel members of the coven, and he can grow attached to certain humans, too.

 He's very difficult to anger. He'll cry before he ever gets angry
