Let's Get Back! is a pop rock/punk rock band that plays a mixture of covers and occassional original songs. They first formed in September 2020 and expanded to their current lineup in August of 2021. The band consists of four members: Shep (lead vocals, guitar), PBnJ (bass, chorus), Rye (keyboards, guitar, chorus), and Pumpernickel (drums, chorus). Let's Get Back! takes a very live-life-to-the-fullest attitude toward their work, with a lot of their songs and covers being fast paced, upbeat and generally really fun to listen to. The band takes a lot of its inspiration from other pop rock or alternative bands, especially the likes of Beat Crusaders and Abandoned Pools, but they aren't restricted to a single style of music. They occassionally do covers of slower paced, more heartfelt songs as well for example. The four members are also great friends with each other, which only adds to how well they work together as a single unit. Let's Get Back! began with just Shep and PBnJ as a duo in September of 2020, just as a way to have fun and channel the significance they both see in music into something expressive. Together, Shep and PB started off strong with a cover album version of Abandoned Pools' album Humanistic, released in December of 2020. That got a lot of positive feedback, and after looking around for some additional members to fill some more roles, twins Rye and Pumpernickel joined the band in August of 2021, completing the band's current lineup. In early June of 2022, Let's Get Back! released their first official, full-length cover album: Let's Get Back Tonight!, which consits of 12 different covers of songs by 12 different artists, from Owl City to Imagine Dragons. They haven't yet released any original work in album form, but rest assured that more will be coming very soon and the future looks bright for Let's Get Back!
