Soni Starlite
A relatively quiet cat that seeks to live a normal life. He loves to relax and stay out of the spotlight. Unfortunately for him, he always manages to find himself in everyone's business whether its intentional or not.
Often Soni wondered why he kept watching bad things happen to his friends while nothing happened to him. He thought it was a cruel trick from the world to make him watch them suffer. He suffers from an inflated sense of responsibility because of this.

Soni's half-younger sister. He's often a victim of her teasing but she's also the first to sense when he's feeling down. Then he becomes the victim of her attempts to bring his mood back up. In turn, Soni is the first one to sense when she's doing something stupid. They share the same father.
A friend that wasn't his friend at first. He suspected her of having malicious intent when meeting her at first, but quickly warmed up to her when she struggled against her own family to protect him and his sister. Soni's not sure why, but his protective insticts feel the strongest towards her.
They met through a pen pal program when both were young. The two exchanged letters and pictures of their lives for years before Xia announced she would be moving to Acteon and be unable to continue sending letters. Though distraight at first, the two eventually reunite when Soni moves to Acteon as well with his friends.
