Introduction
Nick is a citizen of the Coastal Islands working as a Homicide Detective for the CIPD (Coastal Islands Police Department). (I don’t know what else to add here so uhhh. . . )
Nick works alongside Detective at the police department, taking on the same investigation as him with his coworker George. Detective and Nick end up becoming rivals as they have opposite personalities that often clash and each competing for the same goal. With the help from his friend George, Nick makes Detective’s job a lot worse, making it hard on purpose to try to get him to fail so they can be the ones who gets credit (and the raise) for solving the case.

Nick is a smug and cocky individual who more often than not thinks he’s better than others. He’s very prideful and frequently shows off to make him feel better about himself and to get attention from others. Hating feeling left out from the crowd he will usually do something he doesn’t particularly like just to seem “cool.”
Nick is known to be flirtatious when around other women, self confidence seems to give him enough courage to talk to almost anyone. Women are often seduced by his charming personality and handsome looks which feeds into his ego even farther.
Just like the others, Nick has his flaws, a set of sins he struggles with in his everyday life. His most common conflicts include jealousy, lust, alcoholism, pride to be the most notable. Even though he believes these faults to be normal he soon gains this nagging feeling in his consciousness that makes him think otherwise.

Relationships
Nick loves his father more than he can put into words, but he can’t help but be confused about some of his life choices. When he was growing up Caesar would always have to work which prompted Nick to lose connection and communication with him, this becoming more evident when he got older and Caesar would work more, and especially so when his parents were going through a divorce. Now as an adult Nick visits his father often just to check in, grateful to have a wonderful dad who provided for him when he was a kid. Their relationship grows stronger with every passing day.
Nick loves his mother, but is rather wary of her. Having gone from a loving mother who gave all her attention to him to an alcoholic who would snap at him any moment, it was clear that they started growing apart and he eventually stopped all communication with her. This was proven true when one day Racheal hit him, scaring his muzzle while she was drunk, which caused his parents to get a divorce. To this day Nick hardly ever speaks to her and doesn’t mind if they never talk again.
Being the father of his best friend, Nick frequently saw Lawrence when he went over to hang out with George, this being a recurring thing as both his parents were both busy (fighting). Lawrence took Nick under his wing and made sure he was safe, helping him any way he could. Nick on numerous occasions obtained money from the man when his own family was doing poorly and he is forever grateful.
George and Nick had known each other since they were born, always hanging out together since their father’s were friends prompting them to become incredibly close. They would get into all kinds of shenanigans together, more often than not getting in trouble. As they got older, George started leading Nick into doing more daring actions such as sneaking out of the house and even pressuring him into consuming alcohol. Nick was nonthewiser to his friend’s increasingly toxic behavior and simply went along with it. (Can’t continue as it contains spoilers whoops).
Nick met Apikalia at a coffee shop where she was working as a waitress. His first impression of her wasn’t exactly the best, but he looked past her grumpy attitude and tried to get her to speak to him. With constant nagging they started talking more and became close. After a while she agreed to go out with him and soon got together officially. Apikalia is Nick’s light and joy, giving him newfound love that he always wanted, ultimately curing his loneliness for good.
They met each other at a party when they were 16 and hit it off pretty well. After a night together she disappeared and they didn’t see each other for the next three years which admittedly broke Nick’s heart. When they reunited once more they stayed in contact and soon actually got together in a relationship. They were together for six months before Nick caught her cheating, resulting in a huge heartbreak on his side that took a while to recover from, cutting all contact with her like she did to him years prior.
Nick met Lily during college, leaving a rather bad first impression of himself. He constantly tried to talk to her, but coming off too strongly, Lily started getting irritated (at the time she was with Detective) and told him off. Nick left her alone so he wouldn't make her feel uncomfortable but afterwards soon realized he had a crush on her. After a while he told her about his feelings, actually acting serious this time, and hearing this she gave him a chance and they became friends.
