- Thier story takes place in the year before the main story of Twisted Wonderland begins. They are a third year Pomefiore student.
- Pyry is very observant, often noticing specific behaviours in the people around them and able to make fairly accurate guesses about what they are thinking.
- Thier eyes become glassy if they have used thier unique magic on themself recently.
- Due to thier history, there are many aspects of themself which they will not be able to fully define or examine until thier adulthood, however thier gender was something which thery were able to understand fairly early on.
- They actually enjoy Lilia's candy, and would often trade them some of thier Salmiakki for it.
- After graduating they develop a fondness for decora accessories, buying a decoden phone case and acrylic nails.
- They refer to people they are not close with as some variant of "little one", however will refer to friends, or people they feel comfortable around, by thier first name.
In the world of Twisted Wonderland, Pyry is inspired by the titular "Snow Queen", originally written by Hans Christian Anderson:
"A beautiful young man with a stoic appearance. Not many people seem to truly know anything about them. They have become interested in puzzles, though they are not very good at them."
Pyry is currently in their third year, and is a member of both the Board Game Club and Pomefiore. A stoic person, they have often been perceived by others as cold and unfeeling. They befriend Niels, who becomes interested in the Board Game Club for the puzzles.
Their Unique Magic, "The Second Kiss" allows them to bestow a kiss, either literal or metaphorical, on a willing person which makes them forget specific things, or feel specific emotions severely less. The magic works best on conflicted, or outfight negative, feelings and memories but may occasionally bleed into positive ones; depending on how broad the range of the subject that needs to be forgotten is. The spells’ effect lasts until the memory or emotion is triggered by something explicitly tied to it, which cannot be avoided or denied. The spell may be easily reapplied, but loses effectiveness the more times it is used to treat a specific memory or emotion. The rate at which the spell needs to be recast will increase after the first time it is broken.
The subject of the spell will remember receiving it, but will not remember what they had wanted to erase. The Second Kiss may also be applied to the spell’s caster. Pyry can often be seen gently toying with their hands around their face, and even a keen observer would have difficulty discerning if they were casting the spell or merely fidgeting.
The newest member of the Board Game Club, Pyry quickly becomes fascinated with Niels' skill with puzzles and they grow to be friends. Pyry becomes aware of the pain Niels is facing due to his deteriorated friendship with Gerhard, and wants to help him in the only way they know how. Niels' friendship and opinion of them means far more to Pyry than he is aware of.
Pyry knows very little about this exchange student from Royal Sword Academy, other than that Niels wants to forget them. Pyry erased Neils' meory of them and helps to keep them away from him so the memories do not resurface. (After the events of the story, Pyry gets to know Gerhard a little more through thier renewed friendship with Niels.)
Pyry does not know this kid. They only interraction they have had was Palle trying to eat lunch with them early into the school year, him insisting that they look "very prince-like", however the interraction soon ended when Pyry was dubbed "too serious!" and Palle left. (After the story, Pyry becomes a little more accquanted with Palle due to him tagging along to group meetups with Niels and Gerhard.)
