Backstory:
Born a peasant, raised a peasant, Brevi spent the first nine years of her life tilling farmland for a ruthless duchess. Brevi's family may have been passive about working for nobles, but for as long as she could remember, Brevi was having none of it. She beat up other children, spat, kicked, cursed, and threatened visiting nobles. After an argument with her parents about her dangerous behavior, she ran away from home and spent a night on the street. A mercenary passing through came upon her. After hearing her plight, and seeing much of her in himself, he offered to take her under his wing as an apprentice. Brevi immediately accepted and was whisked off on a horse by the mentor she would come to know as Talon. Brevi trained under his brutal tutelage to be a fearless warrior. Over the years her heart hardened, her fists grew calloused, and her anger at her previous mistreatment grew. Talon was an excellent mentor, but taught her to weaponize her anger rather than control it. Brevi became a berserker on the battlefield, hellbent on revenge. By now, however, Talon was too jaded by his own past experiences to see anything wrong with this. He commended Brevi on her power. Brevi grew emotionally stunted and eternally angry, her violent behavior harnessed only by Talon's guidance. However, before her training could be completed, Talon was slain in battle. Brevi was left lost and devastated. Grieving and desperate for a purpose, Brevi turned to her mercenary work intensely, ever seeking to sate her anger with the blood of nobles.
