• catie is fluent in 12 languages
• her father is a government official
• her boyfriend is ethan
  • they met the night her the president was assassinated. while escaping the conference room they bumped into each other. he helped her escape.
    • she later found out that he was with the people that killed the president. he was actually supposed to be the shooter but he couldn't do it.
    • he had to keep her with her in case she had "seen too much". when his friends never returned he assumed they had been caught and started heading home.
  • ethan informed catie about the lack of care the government gives for his town, and surrounding ones. so she went to his place to meet the people and find out how she can help them.
  • after staying there for a couple months (in hiding cuz she hates her parents now), she decided to go back and start her proposal on how to help poor places in the country.
