Blake's mother lived in the Viridian forest with her big pack when she met a stange male Pikachu with black stripes and a lot of scars. He was a nomad who was looking for a place to stay. The young female was infatuated by the stranger, and even though they were wary of him, the pack decided to let him stay. During his stay, he wooed the female to be his mate. One day a fight broke between a young male and the black triped one. The fight got out of hand soon, as black was using way more force than usual scuffles between Pikachus usually take. Suddenly black bared his fangs and bit the young male to death. Horrified, the pack didn't know what to do, until the leader ordered the nomad to be killed for murder. Unfortunately, the black pikachu got away. His mate had seen everything, and was absolutely horrified. She felt awful for believing his lies, and felt even worse once she realized she was expecting...

Childhood

Blake hatched some months later. He was loved by his mother, but the fact that he resembled his father so much caused trouble to the young pikachu. The adults kept their fears as a secret, but younglings that had been there when Blake's father had done the deed were loud and judgemental about Blake, saying he would grow up to be just like his father. Blake had to grow under judging looks of the adults, accussation of the youngsers and fear of his peers. The only person who cared about him was his mother. One day Blake got into a fights with one of the loudest bullies, and managed to scratch his eye out in fury. Realizing what he had done, Blake ran away. After running for days, Blake finally collapsed. When he woke up, he saw a Raichu, wearing a black cap with a red R in it, who had taken him in. Asking the young Pikachu where he came from, Blake only asnwered that he was a son of a monster abd had no home to go to. The raichu took pity in him and asked if he'd like to join Team Rocket with him. Since Blake had nowhere else to go, he accepted.

Working for Team Rocket

Blake took well to working with TR. He was strong and reliable, which raised acceptance within the other TR pokemon. He was thought by the Raichu, whom was called Rick, and the two grew close over the years. Blake started seeing Rick as a father-figure he never had. Sure, sometimes Blake felt bad about what they were doing, but soon reminded himself that he was "a son of a monster" so there was no other way for him except for crime anyway. As years went on, he was made from Grunt to an Agent, thus giving him more important missions and raising other's respect for him. On one mission however, Rick, Blake and few others were almost crushed by a building collapsing. Most made it out with few cuts, but one who didn't was Rick. Blake dug Rick out, and while the Raichu was still alive and concious, it was clear he would not make it. Before dying, Rick told Blake that "You are not your father. You are you. You can choose who you want to be. Even good people do bad things sometimes. But what makes good people good, is that they feel bad after they do". Blake took this to heart and decided to leave TR. Of course, being one of the Agents meant he knew too much to be simply let go, so Blake bad to dissapear.

Finding love

Blake left Kanto. He traveled to many regions and met many people, too many to mention here. But as he did, he grew into himself more and more. During his time in Sinnoh he met a black Pachirisu his age who seemed to have just as dark past as him, being bullied for her looks and being the only survivor or a fire that killed her pack. The two began to travel together, and fell in love. They then had a son, naming him Benjamin. Blake was first worried about being a father, but soon grew to love it. He thought Ben the same thing Rick did before his death, and Ben took this to heart. Soon Blake began to wonder how his mother was, wanting Ben to meet her. So the family took a long trip to Kanto, where Blake, after many years, finally reunited with his mother, who was overjoyed seeing him again. Even the male Blake had scratched was glad to see him alright. The two apologized to one another and made amends. Blake's mother adored poth Patty and Ben, and everything seemed fine...

Last stand

Some time later a rumour started. The black pikachu, Blake's father, had been seen in the forest. Blake heard that he aparently came to stalk the pack once every few years. Blake decided to end it. Using the skills he had learned when working for TR and tracked black down. Blake and black had a long dialogue about right, wrong, reasons and resolutions, eventually coming to the conclusion that black enjoyed striking fear into people. When black tried to mess with Blake, saying they were not so different and that sons are often like their fathers, Blake simply snickered. "You were never my father. Rick was. I'm not you. I never have been, I never will be." The two had an epic fight, where Blake lost an ear and eye, but eventually raighned superior. He didn't kill his father though. He let the pack decide what to do with him. Eventually the pack decided to let him out of his misery. Blake's wounds healed and he now lives happily with his pack and family. He sometimes visits the place Rick died and brings him his favorite treats.
