{ About }

Mihal's a very quiet and unassuming esk, preferring their own company within the confines of their lighthouse boundary. They don't interact with many other esks voluntarily or even leave the confines of their boudary very often if it can be avoided. They attempt to keep up a very sweet and friendly demeanour similar to their act when they were still a human, old habits that remain despite the lacking nessecity of them, and won't reveal their true nature unless things take a turn for the worse in their opinion.

Their true personality is one brimming with mal intent and bubbling fury, the esk caring not for anyone or anything but it's own self and the wants and whims curling within the confines of their roiling core. They're malicious nature reveals itself in the form and manifestation of their elemental; fog, similar to the fog that hung low and thick over the beach and ocean during the coldest and darkness of winter nights, their own fog decieves and obscures the world around them and even Mihal themself, causing confusion and disorientation and at times, at their most furious points, disaster for those that would rely on the lighthouse's work to guide their vessels to safety.

Mihal cares little about the result of their actions, merely continuing on regardless of the consequences to those around them.

{ Backstory }

Mihal refuses to talk about their time before being an esk, if pushed to ask about it they will instead become angry and leave the situation as quickly as they are able.

The story they don't tell involves a set of twins growing up by the ocean their very lighthouse stands tall over, and how one of the two fell into despairity while the other seemed to flourish on the surface but became more and more tangled up in their own head as time went on but both supported each other as best they were able. Until the older twin disappeared suddenly after a trip back to their hometown and the younger fell into a despair all their own.

Mihal would never talk about the days leading up to their own transformation of desperately searching for the other, of the sorrow and despair they fell into the more time passed.

{ Boundary }

Lighthouse - A still in use lighthouse that is meant to assist in guiding ships away from the dangerous rocks that lie near the coastline it stands guard over, though with Mihal there it's effectiveness has come under much scruntiny

{ Origin }

Mihal finds no peace or comfort in being an esk, in the second chance of life they were given. They feel incredible betrayed by their existence and the being that transformed them, they hadn't wanted to exist past climbing to the top of the lighthouse of their old hometown. They hadn't wanted the offer the creature 'gifted' them with, hadn't wanted to linger in this world without their lost brother. But now they're stuck like this.

As an esk Mihal keeps mostly to themself in the top of the lighthouse's tower or within the confines of it's interior, tormenting whoever comes into the building to work/maintain/live within it, giving the lighthouse a sour reputation for being haunted and dangerous to any working within it.

Mihal also chooses to mess with the lighthouse itself, which often leads to the ships that it's meant to guide crashing into the rocks nearby and sinking into the depths of the sea below. At times it comes across as their elemental leaking from the lighthouse and shrouding the surrounding area in deep fog, or as their elemental building up within the lighthouse itself leading to, in combination with their own burgeoning abilities, the keeper becoming so confused and disorientated they lose track of themselves and their surroundings.

If one were to ask them why they act in such a way Mihal would have no way of answering them, they're unaware of the reasoning behind their decisions and choices, merely that they act the way they act and that they house a relentless malicy within themselves towards the world around them.
