PersonalityIzumi has a very hard personality to get along with. He wasn't half as bad in the past as he is now, but the death of a close friend has caused him to close up and lash out more. He has a very sarcastic and harsh tongue. Is a very honest person, even in regardes to himself. He can't stand stupid and outlandish type of people, usually finding them the easiest targets for his teasing remarks. His high intelligence makes it easy for him to stay on top of most things mentally. Most of the kids in his class ether highly dislike him, or just flat out ignore him. It's hard to tell with his tough and bitter outer shell, but deep down, he has a caring nature. He just gets frustrated with people easily, and honestly just feels very alone now. In a weird round about away, he's always trying to strive for the best outcome for everyone though.

Hobbies and Notes:

  • He's obsessed with the mysterious circumstances to his friends death. He carries a notebook with him, to write down any info he can find relating to his death. Even in the middle of talking to someone, he'll take the time to pull it out, and write any info he deems important.
  • He gets cold very easily. During the winter months, he wears as many layers as he can to try and keep warm. During really cold days, he'll even have scarfs and gloves on as well. It's not uncommon for him to get sick often, due to a weak body.
  • He eats very healthy, mostly because his body doesn't handle most foods very well. He really enjoys drinking teas the most.
  • The hat he wears actually belongs to his friend. He wears it to remind himself not to give up on his goal of finding out the truth.

Noteable Relationships:

  • Azami FukuharaOne of the oldest girls in the classroom. Prior to the story, Izumi never interacted with her too much, maybe the remarks here and there about her airhead personality. But once she begins to have visions of him, he finds him self around her very often. The amount of visions she has of Izumi dying are a lot, almost to a hilarious amount. It's not weird to see her picking him up, saving him from whatever was going to kill him. (Sometimes it's poisonous snakes, sometimes its bricks falling, other times it's just him tripping and snapping his neck.) Her bubbly and sweet attitude is actually able to brush off any harsh comments Izumi throws at her. To the point he gives up being malicious to her at all. Over time he even begins to open up to her slowly. He's grateful she tries to take the time for him, and shows her genuine care for him. Eventually he even comes off as an over protective little brother type for her.
  • Daijiro Shiraishi: An older boy, who he begins to have visions of. Prior to his friends death, he had mention to Izumi something along the lines of what sounded like premonitions. So once Izumi himself begins to see things, he takes it very seriously from the start, not doubting what he sees. He'll take any measures necessary to prevent Daijiros deaths. Even going as far to lock him in the school bathrooms, much to Daijiros confusion. He'll give lists of things for Daijiro to avoid, paranoid at the idea of himself not always being there to be able to save him. Luckily Daijiros very laid back nature, can handle the chaotic and neurotic Izumi quite well.
  • Kagami KonishiThe girl in his group at class. They both each lost a friend, so it's easy to see how the two of them have changed. Usually they sit in silence at their desks. Despite having somewhat similar personalities, the two tend to butt heads when they do talk. When it comes to the mystery of their visions, as well as it's relations to their friends deaths, they'll take each other seriously. In his mind, Kagami is probably the person who understands where he's coming from best. Both with losing a friend, as well as a more lonely family life.
