Kokkaku was deemed too accentric during her time in the corps. Not many others appreciated her dark humor, and she often fought by herself. Luckily, she was able to fight fiercly and rise the ranks. Those who have known her describe her as odd. But she just wants others to understand her. With Kokkaku's connection to death, others often find her distasteful. Kokkaku was born into a house of doctors, but did not like growing up with thier stuffy rules.

Abilities

Kokkaku has many abilities as she has grown as a hashira. She is incredibly agile and stealthy. After taking some time to train with Shinobu, Kokkaku has a great knowledge of poisons. She specializes is fungal poisons, but does not often use these in battle as most demons are immune. Kokkaku's main ability is an incredible knowledge of body structures. She can name every bone and muscle of most animals. This assists in finding deadly blows against demons.

Fighting Style

Kokkaku developed Corpse Breathing after isolating herself in the forest for over a year. She found comfort in the rotting death that surrounded her. Others who have tried to study under her find Corpse Breathing to be very dificult and that "it leaves a bad taste in the mouth". The key of Corpse Breathing is shallow breaths that are nearly indetectable. The swordsmanship involved with Corpse Breathing include quick movements aimed at vunurable parts of the body. The currently known forms of Corpse Breathing are as follows;

First Form:Rotting Breath - The user makes a diagonal slash targeting the throat.

Second Form:Decaying Flesh - The user skims the skin of the target up the arms, flaying them.

Third Form:Death Roll - The user jumps at the target in a spiral, gutting them.
