Kona herself is an ex-gene scientist who left at her own accord after losing her partner. An intensely hard worker, she will overwork herself to the bone, and is always exhausted and out of it because of that. She often looks spaced out and uninterested, but she's just tired 24/7. She's interested in others' theories or opinions, even if they clash with her own.

Despite working primarily with genetics and biology, stars and space are her obsessions. You can't have too long a conversation with her without at least one being brought up. She's obscenely focused with working on projects until they're completed, even if it means days of working on it.
