North is a gray wolf and nonbinary trans man. He is a member of a soul amalgam in that he shares his life and body with several other souls, to which he is psychically connected. The connections between each soul in the amalgam cannot be severed without destroying all pieces in the process. Due to the influence of the others in the amalgam, his behaviors and inner reality may seem bizarre, capricious, and difficult to parse from an external perspective. North's own personality is extremely consistent and somewhat constrained, however. Gentle yet quick-witted, North is rather icy to strangers but fiercely loyal and nurturing towards those he cares about. He takes just about everything seriously (at least at first), and has difficulty interacting with others until he has been able to learn their mannerisms. North works as a librarian and some of his interests include the polar regions, information science, obscure history, strategy games, and storytelling.

As my main fursona, North represents me as closely as possible! He is intended to be a nearly 1:1 representation of myself - in other words, he is literally me and I am him IRL. He was initially created in 2021, but his design has been adjusted since and incorporates several charactersitics from previous fursonas of mine. His role as a piece of a soul amalgam is intended to represent parts of myself and pays homage to retired fursonas from past years.
