Sun's Links
Jupiter has a few memories from her days being part of the Sun and she hates them so much. She considers the Sun to be her enemy due to how disconnected and different she felt during that time. The only thing she relates to the Sun to is their shared love of creation and nature.
He understands that he was a part of the Sun but now that he's himself, he doesn't want to go back. The only thing related to the Sun that remains in Mars are the very few clouded and distant memories and a fire burning within him. He understands that the Sun and him have very few things in common, such as their passion and the fire they carry within.
The only thing Mercury remembers about the Sun is the hot stinging pain of being electrocuted and a few very hazy memories. He prefers not to think about it as it makes him feel awfully sick.
She doesn't have any actual memories from the Sun but she remembers some of the feelings the Sun went through in the past. Those feelings bring her some pain and make her want to forget. She considers herself her own person and prefers not to be the Sun anymore. The one thing the two have in common is the love for creating new things.
Neptune remembers only the negative feelings she felt while she was part of the Sun. All the tears, sadness and pain he felt. Those negative memories and feelings occasionally make her feel dread so she tries not to think about them too much. She doesn't like the idea of being a part of the Sun again.
Out of all the rulers he seems to be the only one who wants to go back to his days as the Sun and has a positive view on him. He also seems to know much more about the Sun than he lets on which only very very few gemlings know about.
Venus remembers a few lingering memories of being part of the Sun and still on rare occasions feels some heartbreak related to it. Because of this he prefers not to go back to being the Sun. Venus has a few things in common with the Sun such as their shared desire to be accepted and loved but, unlike the Sun, Venus was very happy in engaging in that desire and would long for more.
Pluto's feelings for the Sun seem very complicated. Before they regained their memory they hated the Sun with their entire being, believing him to be the cause of their suffering. But after regaining the Moon's memories Pluto doesn't hate the Sun but believes him to be a complicated being, searching for power and acceptance. They want to stop him from using others as a way to gain power and control even if it means sacrificing themself.
At first the Sun felt genuine affection and even love for the Moon. He really did consider her to be his partner until all the clinginess and her endless neediness and affection became too much for him to bear. The overwhelming love led to him trying to push her away by any means except violence. In the end he became mostly apathetic towards her, considering changing her role and using her as a way to govern over his creation. He did still love her a little but was too tired to care or change his new plans.
At first the Moon saw the Sun as her soulmate and thought the purpose of her existence was to be his other half, to complete him and be his partner for all times. At first she clung onto him and wanted his attention. She wanted to love and be loved by him even if it meant constantly being by his side. But after many years of neglect and mistreatment and their eventual fight, she felt she couldn't consider him her partner anymore. The realization that the Sun had other intentions with her and wanted to use her for his own gain in the end also left her feeling quite hurt.
