Frostreach (Frozen Fish)

The Frozen Fish is a small restaurant located in the small, icy town of Frostreach. The building has been here for as long as the town has as it originally was the building that the Animalia who founded the town first built so they could have some protection from the elements as they built the rest of the town. Eventually, it was transformed from the town lodging into a small, quaint restaurant with a few bedrooms outback.

The restaurant is now owned by the Mendoza's. It doesn't make that much money and without the bi-yearly 'Snow Day' event, they would quickly be out of business.
Although the place is under his mother's name,  Nick Mendoza is really the one that runs it. He is always up early in the morning to get things ready for the day and staying late to make sure everything is clean. The small lad is a bit quiet when it comes to welcoming guests in, but the food and price are reasonable giving a comfortable place for those that wander in to warm up.

From the outside, the restaurant itself looks to be in rough condition, with a thick layer of ice and snow seeming to be the only thing holding it together. The sign outside the place is worn down and needs a new coat of paint, the words on it barely visible anymore. Every night a lantern is lit and hung outside the restaurant as if a beacon for lost travelers that this is a safe refuge. Inside the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Although a bit worn down and in need of a few new tables and chairs as the current ones are all mismatched, the place has a homely, well-loved feel to it. Delicious smells hang in the air and a fireplace on the far side of the restaurant is always burning. On the back wall there is a door to what must be the kitchen, and next to the door is a long table with a few chairs tucked into it and sitting on top of the table is a small bell used to get the waiter's attention. Outback a 3 small rooms can be rented out with the last one being home to the Mendoza's. The rooms aren't that large and only have one bed, but they are a safe, warm place to sleep for the night.

Grilled Boreogadus
Fettuccine Alfredo
Potato Soup

Each dish comes with a complimentary warm drink, the house's secret recipe. It's warm and savory with a hint of mint.

There are many who eat at the Frozen Fish, but only a few that have a strong connection with the place
