Zhangjie Jinhai

The youngest son of the Zhangjie family, Jinhai is from a kitsune lineage that descends from the sacred Chinese white tiger of the west. Usually, only women of the family has the tiger power and appearance, but he was born with more feline characteristics. Because of that, and his frail androgynous body, he suffers a lot of discrimination from the others kitsunes in town, who think that he's a hybrid and unworthy of being in such great family.  

Jinhai has an older twin sister called Ling, and both work in the family's book store.

His personality is of a anti social person, but in reality he is just shy. Among close friends, he shows is true colors, being a very caring and kind person. 

His favorite hobby involves cultivating his garden with an enormous amount of different flowers and herbs, and reading books about how to take care then. 

Jinhai was in the closet about being gay for a long time, but people already suspected about it due to his previous feminine look. 

He was a late bloomer, in the matter of magic, being trained by his best friend's older bother, Shoyun, who he had a massive crush for decades.
He never had the courage to tell his feelings, and when Shoyun announced that he was getting married, Jinhai showed his first symptons of the Hanahaki decease. 

With the help of Kamui, a Inari priest, Shoyun discovered that he is the soulmate of Jinhai, and that it was because of him that his friend was sick.
