A woman whose lifespan has sucked the life out of her by watching the world slowly burn, her only means of escape is through living life on the egde (of poverty). She may seem irresponsible at first because of how much time she devotes to her addictive ways, but boy oh boy does she cook a mean spaghetti.
A girl who was orphaned during her teenage years, Basil led a life of danger and poverty trying to scrap up enough to eat during the medieval ages. Conning people and realizing her talent for cheating luck, she grew addicted to the rush of winning after winning. After betting her life on a gamble she was certain of winning, she lost. The dealer saw potential in Basil and instead of killing her on the spot, they turned her into a vampire and welcomed her into their fmaily. They say that debt dies with you, but this doesn't apply to Basil unfortunately.
Basil cares very much for Byte, and doesn't want him to end up like how she did. She's not doing a great job, but it's better that he's addicted to games and not gambling.
Basil's family has long been indebted to Mukau's family line for generations. More details when I feel like it.
