Shichiro is a young man from Alola, learning to become an Aura Guardian. He is Haku's cousin, and Primrose's uncle figure. His grandparents were originally from Kanto and Hisui, until they moved to Alola where he was born. Shichiro is very good with kids and Pokémon. He strongly believes people and Pokémon should live together.

When he meets Satori, he is first intrigued by the wild girl. Once he learns about her past and her mission, he vows to find Satori's child and reunite them. With time, Satori and Shichiro will fall in love, and later, he adopts Satori's child.

Shichiro, along with his siblings, is Sacha's ancestor and Sir Aaron's descendant, like Haku. He's a traveler and he visited many regions on foot, sometimes riding his Wyrdeer partner. During one of his travels, he met Mink and Ryo, who became his closest friends. Shichiro even joins their crew on Mink's ship.

Shichiro has been working on being a good Aura bearer since he was a child. He is Haku's cousin, and Primrose calls him "uncle Chiro". Shichiro gets along with Prim very well, and brought back a Pokémon egg from Alola for her.

Shichiro met Satori in Hisui, and he felt compelled to help her. First attracted by the mysterious girl, hoping to make her smile, and then making sure she would be reunited with her child. Shichiro is chivalrous, helping others is in his nature.

Years later, Shichiro lives with Satori, and adopted her child. He never had children of his own.

Tapu Koko is the guardian deity of Melemele Island, where Shichiro lived with his parents, grandparents and his Pikachu. Tapu Koko have been watching over Shichiro since his childhood, battled against his Pikachu, helped him evolve into an Alolan Raichu, and gave Shichiro the motivation he needed to leave Alola to visit the world.

Satori

Shichiro was attracted by the mysterious Satori. He tried to make her smile with his natural cheerful personality, but soon understood that Satori needed another sort of help. He made it his duty to help Satori be reunited with her child.
