Flynn Ophir

Bio: The Ophir family holds a contest every few years to see who will be the next leader. Flynn happens to be a pureblood, but it wasn't why he won the contest. He's huge, and he knows a lot of useful tricks with his magic. Fighting is one of his passions, along with hunting and inventing awful stories about Avelyn Pixies. He's surprisingly vain despite most of his time spent scuffling or flinging dirt. He really enjoys his beard. A lot.

Magic: If you asked an Ophir what their power was, they would say they had control of earth's precious stones. But usually, they aren't fighting with gold or rubies. Flynn has a diamond shield and usually makes his other weapons out of plain stone. He throws boulders a lot, relying heavily on the brute force of the rock to do a lot of damage. He has no particular affinity, though he has noticed that slate is his least favorite stone. It crumbles too easily, even though it is easily summoned from the ground.
