Short Description: Eyresid is a massive unknown dragon like creature, without wings, of the largest size you’d ever seen in your life. He’s both double the height and weight of a large Clydesdale stallion, so you can imagine just how huge he must be, along with his extra hundred pounds of muscle. You’re not finding any blubber on this guy!

He’s a very handsome dragon too. Most of his body consists of a soft deep blue but from his shoulders up to the top of his head it turns into a paler sky blue and at the end of the darker blue are a few pale golden spots, and the tip of his tail is also pale blue. His dark blue turns white around his ankles of his front talons and a deep deep blue, nearly black, just at the bottom of his back talons. On his tail there are faint darker blue stripes lining it all the way down to just before the tip and then it fades away. Eyre has two handsome stripes on his face. One in the corner of his cheekbone, dark blue lined in a pale gold, and the other at the end of his mouth line, also dark blue lined in pale gold. At the tip of his snout you’ll find a short white or very very pale blue line going over his nostrils.

Eyresid has two large horns on the top of his head that are a white/blue mixture at the bottom and grow into the same dark dark blue of his back talons for the end. Over all that on both horns are some pale golden stripes, adding to the heavily marked effect on his horns, which have a slight curve downwards at their tip.

On the back of Eyre’s neck is a darker blue fin, the colour of his body, not tall like an orca’s but more like a shark’s, yet is shorter and blunter with no sharp point and it’s very flexible.

Now at the end of Eyre’s rump, on the first bit of his tail, is a medium-sized ridge of spines the dark colour of his horns and back talons, yet dotted, striped and tipped in pale gold.

Finally at the tip of Eyre’s tail is a large dark blue type of fan the same colour as his horns, back talons and spines that’s marked with broken white stripes.

Background: Eyre never knew his parents. He’s not even sure what they were. He does know that they knew they were having him, they’d been prepared. Where his egg had been placed was beside a not-to-deep bay where sharks come to have their pups and knew they’d be safe. Being dragon, Eyre obviously hatched bigger than a bunch of shark pups, and always would be, so they were of no danger to him. And if there were enough fish to feed dozens of shark pups, there was enough there for a baby dragon. Yet how did Eyresid’s parents know he’d be able to go underwater and hunt there? Could they guarantee that he’d be able to do that, or was it a lucky guess? He’d never find out.

The first thing Eyre saw when he hatched from his egg was nothing. Was he blind? He didn’t feel like he was. So why was it all dark and black? He could feel the sun’s heat on his newly-hatched skin, yet couldn’t see it. Was there world all darkness? Nothing but touch, hear and smell? No, it couldn’t be. He sensed that it wasn’t. There was this... feeling inside him he’d later come to know as instinct that was telling him to do something. A word... something he had to say... he couldn’t understand why it seemed to be there yet not. He opened his jaw and the first thing that came out was that word. “Conjurus.” He squeaked and suddenly, he saw. It was thrilling! The sun, the blue sky, the golden sandy ness before him, the tall leave greenery behind him. After a moment of awe, Eyresid pulled himself out of his egg and soon realized how he could see when he put his two front talons down and had a weird feeling of stepping on something with his left talon. “Conjurus.” He squawked again and he saw once more, a tingling feeling in his left talon. He seemed to be... holding his eyes? Seemed cool to him.

With a squeal of delight, Eyreside delightful launched himself towards the vast blue salty-smelling bay before him and promptly fell over, face in the sand. He stood up and snorted, spraying sand out of his nose. What a horrid feeling! Don’t fall over again then. Seemed simple... right? With extreme concentration, the dragonet raised one talon, placed it before him, tested his weight, and repeated. Soon he was confidently trotting towards the bay without any more incidents. TBC...

Side Note For Later: He sees from his glowing orb ~ turns off when he sleeps ~ summons it back by saying “Conjurus” ~ he can move it wherever he wants and can see wherever he wants, despite body positioning ~ orb/eye always returns to him in either one of his front talons, most of the time it’s the left, but it depends on which talon he wants to use

Side Note For Later - Part 2: Eyresid can breathe underwater through his special breathing system that allows him to breath both in and out of the water ~ he loves being in the water, be it just simple swimming or even living there -
