summary

Micha is one of the three original members of the SlugSMP. They live in a large tree by the coast along with some other residents, including their cow kin. They built and run the local marketplace, as well as the gameshow Puff Tank. As a moobloom, Micha connects to the next closest beings related to them: cows. Being against cow death or use, they've found themselves rivals with Slug and constantly fight with him. They are neutral toward the other original member of the SSMP, Larkspur, though Micha and Slug like teasing them from time to time. Micha pulls many pranks across spawn, and is the reason why the area is full of chickens.

personality

Micha is impulsive, distrustful, motivated, and self-centered. They take great care of their appearance (see their different canonical outfits here) and are willing to spend the extra time making themselves look nice. They socialize with the others fine, and love coordinating pranks. However, they never go past surface-level interactions; the exception being Slug (ironically), who they frequently express their rage to. This results in them being emotionally isolated. They find comfort with their cows and the other residents in their home. As a moobloom, keeping flowers and vegetation around their home is soothing.

Micha doesn't care for others' problems and frequently neglects Lark's attempts at befriending them on a deeper level (though doesn't hesistate to reach back out to them for a teasing interaction or coordination for the Library). Their impulsivity sometimes leads to them taking on more than they can handle - or rather, fighting those they can't win against. With their poor luck (and some poor decision-making skills), Micha is quickly frustrated. This doesn't stop them from pursuing their goals - whether that has negative consequences or not.

ARRIVAL

Slug and Micha arrived on the same day. They, along with everyone else on the server, woke up along the coast and made their way to the new spawn. Micha settled in this area, where they built a sloppy and imbalanced two-story home on a small patch of island just off the shore. Larkspur arrived a day later.

THE LEATHER EXCHANGE

After a few days, Micha noticed the pen full of cows that Slug had begun setting up as a food source. Micha stole the cows while Slug wasn't there. They hid them in an underwater room underneath their patch of island. Much to their dismay, Slug found them, bred them, and slaughtered them as if it were no different from the animal pen. Micha attempted to kill Slug multiple times over but was defeated (and killed) every time. They fell down the hole in which they had hidden the cows and died by a Creeper, along with two of the remaining cows, putting cow blood on their hands. This was shortly followed by the Leather Exchange, where upon request and some hesitation, Lark handed some leather to Slug despite Micha's pleas not to do so.

ADJUSTING

The following months were filled with periodic conflict, but mostly adjustment to the new world. Micha, soon after the Leather Exchange, moved into a tree on a neighboring island patch. They took in George O'Malley (pet chicken), Fixer Upper (mending villager), Tobias (an Enderman) and God Finley (a cod), Slime (pet dog), and of course, the remaining cows. Their goal of survival changed into two new goals: protecting the cows and exacting revenge on Slug. They got to know Lark and engaged in their rivalry with Slug, though dying most of the time. As a collector of eggs, Micha hid chickens in various places (specifically targetting Slug) and has significantly increased the chicken population.

ANKLEBITER AND THE COW PIT

After a while, they discovered their preference for archery over melee combat. As they practiced their aim, annoying Slug by hitting him with the occasional "stray" arrow, they shot Slug's beloved dog, Anklebiter. With Micha horrified and Slug enraged, Slug revealed his well-kept secret that he had hidden over the past several months: the Cow Pit. The Cow Pit was situated below a small bridge in front of Slug's cave and Micha's home. After descending a few flights of stairs, Slug revealed a large hole in the ground with cows packed to the point where they couldn't move. Micha, grief-stricken, could only watch as Slug murdered and bred the cows in front of them and tossed them a handful of leather. They took the leather and kept it in a chest where their cows lived.

DEVELOPMENTS

Soon after, spawn began to expand. A new member, Berry, arrived in the server. Micha began construction on the Marketplace. Fixer Upper died as a result of an accidental fall, but his husband and his son continue to work at the Marketplace to this day. Eventually, Micha filled the Market with villagers, mostly those with the librarian profession. They began earning emeralds and sold magic books to Slug. Churches, lighthouses, and terrariums were built. Larkspur returned from an unexplained disappearance. Soon, more members began arriving: Wamphy, Lulu, Asamoaj, and Loki. Micha developed a new defense plan and began raising an army of dogs. As Slug began secret construction, Micha caught on and built a tunnel (nicknamed "Secret Tunnel") to it. During Micha's ordeal to find out what the mysterious construction was, they managed to kill Slug for the first time by taking advantage of a simultaneous Enderman attack. Later on, while Micha was remodeling their home, George O'Malley and Emery (one of the cows) died. Micha begins seeing visions of Puff, the pufferfish who stars in the gameshow Puff Tank, in the sky. Puff takes the form of the sun and plays tricks on Micha's vision.

Roswell joins the server. Micha attempts at allying with it, though Roswell seems to be more of a mediator -- strongly opposed to the murderous rivarly between Micha and Slug. All the while, Micha recieves more visions and callings from Puff. Puff leads them to a grassy field in which they kill their first cow with their own blade. They hide away the leather and avoid Puff's callings for weeks; they eventually return. Slug and Micha begin a trend of sacrifices (dogs, mostly) in exchange for protection or divine gifts. After sacrificing one of their cows, Milky, Micha is confronted by Slug, who demands they give up the cow's soul (in addition to the soul of the dog Untitled #212). Micha refuses, throwing their Immunity Pass at Slug and taking Slug's box of souls for themselves. This marks the end of the Soul Event. Micha builds a temple dedicated to Puff, stowed away on a nearby island. Whilst hosting a church sermon in the local church, Micha educates Slug on Puff's existence and leads him to the temple. Micha immediately pays the consequences by a higher being.

appearance

Unlike a regular moobloom, Micha is the cornflower variation. They are blue with white spots: two identical markings on either side of their jaw and under their eyes, a spot below their mouth, their neck, and a heart shape on their forehead, along with a few other spots found on their ref sheet. Cornflowers sprout most noticeably from the back of their head and in their hair, their tail, and along their back. On their hands, their thumb is white with four fingers the same color as their horns/hooves. They have short, slightly curved black horns and brown eyes. Their hair is a darker blue and is in the style of a mullet. Their eyelashes are very prominent. Micha's usual outfit is a black turtleneck with an upside-down heart-shaped hole and some black pants with a belt. They wear a single flower earring on their left ear.

HOBBIES / HABITS / QUIRKS

• brushes fur every morning and night to get rid of stray petals
• builds and explores in their free time
• prefers using a bow and arrow and has a habit of running around shooting things (cause of Anklebiter's death)
