To me, Cap. Rattail is my father. He saved me in my times of trouble, whether they were physical or mental. He gives me food and orders, which I had thought was all that I needed to survive, but he also gave me family, gifts, and a room all to my own, so now I truly thrive.
While his blood may not run through my veins, our blood bond was created when he protected me from my past, with the ocean as our witness.
My closest confidant and friend. A brother, also not through biology but rather through weathering life together.
We used to be inseparable, and were often mistaken for each other like twins. However, soon before he disappeared he began to talk more and more about the surface. If that is indeed where he left, I only hope that nothing nefarious befell him - but why else did he not at least wish me goodbye?
