Ripplepaw's parents were two Fogclan cats, Reedfeather and Swiftstorm. They were denmates, and grew up through the tough times of Retter and Potatothroat. A few months before the clans combined into one, they announced to their clan that they were mates. Then a few months into the drought, Reedfeather announced that she was with kits.

Ripplekit was born with only one sibling, Riverkit. They were born in the drought era, so they met all the kits of all the clans during that time, and swiftly became friends. However many of the older warriors and elders did not like this, including their parents, and tried to separate the kits by clans. It only was made worse when Bronzestar and Smokestar announced their forbidden relationship. While Riverkit rebelled against these teachings and sought to make friends with the other kits, Ripplekit loved listening to the others, and soon found himself agreeing with the older cats.

After all, with the drought it was hard enough to feed one clan, not all of them combined as one. Fogclan should just leave and take the prey for themselves.

Ripplekit soon found himself making clever quips about clan loyalty and pride whenever someone mentioned how much better Direclan was. He would also make sure to loudly correct others to say "Fogclan" when talking about their clanmates.

• He regrets not being a better apprentice for Sprucefang.
• He regrets letting his parents distance themselves from him.
• He regrets that his sister died young.
• He regrets that his idea got his sister killed.

Strengths

• Beechflight has speed- he is able to quickly blitz his opponents before they are even able to prepare for him.
• Beechflight has a very keen sense of sight and pretty high accuracy. When he jumps after his prey, he 80% of the time lands it.
• He's patient and calm, meaning he will be able to deal with even the most troublesome of his clanmates with ease.
• He tend to think outside of the box because of his ideas of perfection.

Weaknesses

• While Beechflight has speed, his actual attacking power and defense is left a bit lackluster. His blows tend to not have much punch to them and he usually gets rattled if a hit lands on him.
• Beechflight has a minor fear of heights, so he can't hunt bids well, and he prefers not to jump high. He cannot climb into the trees for prey either.
• Beechflight tends to bottle all his issues, not dealing with them unless he really has too. This has the tendency to make him explode when he actually reaches his boiling point.
• His phobias with water and rain make it that hes unable to work during any kind of rainstorm-as the rain continues on, he slowly starts to just not really function.
