Miguel

Miguel was born with naturally produced magic ~ Originally he was the son of a wealthy priest, before his magics were discovered. His parents made sure he would suppress them, in fear he would be taken to the lairs if the magic was witnessed, this caused his magic to be stifled  and unbalanced causing him sickness, causing the different colors in his eyes. His magic is akin to a disability for him. His parents tried all sorts of things to remove the magic from him, exorcisms, contacting the villages healers, eventually, his magic was discovered by the public. The scientists from the layers were sent on him; in fear for Miguels safety, his family snuck him out of the village. Where he found a small underground moving settlement of other magic goers and those who sought to protect them. There goals were to study and understand the magic, but not in the way the scientists in the lairs wanted to. They wanted to learn this so that the magi's could manage their own magic, and become balanced.
Miguel is a quiet and peaceful human, he is very good with animals; specifically birds, and has a very calm low energy nature. He doesn't speak much, and can be quite awkward with people sometimes, but he has very good manners.
