Tactical Flashbang

Just "Tactical" to his friends. "Mr Flashbang" for everyone else.

Tactical is a male Seawing/Rainwing hybrid.
Instead of having Rainwing colour-change scales, every scale is a Seawing glow-scale. He can control which scales turn on, but he does not have the finesse or natural patterns to be able to speak Aquatic.

Tactical lives in a tropical cove at the edge of the rainforest, where he runs a famous seafood restaurant. Dragons travel all over via land, sea, and air to visit.

He especially loves spicy food and warm waters. He does not venture into the deep sea.

His Rainwing father has a home-away-from-home: a fishing hut on a tropical beach. He goes there to get away from the drama of Rainwing society, relax, sunbathe, fish, and watch the green glow-jellies.

One day a Seawing came ashore, curious about his fishing equipment - she had spent most of her life out in the ocean and not seen this before.
They got to talking, and after a few weeks a romance blossomed. A real fisherman-and-the-mermaid kinda story.

Eventually Tactical was born, but sadly his mother could not help raise him.
Not only could he not speak Aquatic, he has no gills.
Moreover, her pod was moving back to deeper waters where he could not follow.

Thus, Tactical was raised by his father on the tropical beach, with his mother visiting once a year.
As he approached maturity, he and his father moved back inland to join Rainwing society proper. He stayed until adulthood, where he moved to his cove to start his restaurant.

His father retired back to his fishing hut, where his wife (Tactical's mother) visits whenever she can. Tactical now goes to see them a few times a year.
