Personality

When Varg was new to living on the surface he was like many of the mean demons out there; solely looking to cause havoc for his benefit. But he quickly adapted a life style that made him a lot more tame and helped shape his character. 

He‘s a bit of a dad friend and can be overprotective. He’s sarcastic and is easily disappointed by dumb things such as with Gen Z humor. He’s down to Earth and enjoys small talk, and has somewhat of a ‘gentleman‘ sounding voice. He can be figurative with the way he talks. But since he’s still a demon, his height powers can get to his head sometimes. He‘ll occasionally hang out with bad demons/people that influence him, including ex-best friends. He tries his best not to let negative emotions or people that annoy him set him off though he does have anger issues. If he's around someone he has beef with he becomes sly, manipulative and passive aggressive. But him or his friends may quickly correct him. In a way Varg is like a bomb, strong but fully aware of his emotions and actions which allow him to be considerate. In general he's found being constantly violent/mean tiring anyways

Abilities

He can see and interact with the spirit realm. He’s friends with a lot of cool ghosts

Can raise people/animals from the dead but it’s looked down upon by the spirits. He’s only done it twice, one time just to show off. He’s gotten close to it many times though since it’s easy for him to do in the heat of a moment. With his version of going about it corpses get revived through a purple 'soul fire'

Can walk through walls and teleport via portals. He’ll form a purple ghostly looking portal that closes the instant he fully steps in. They form on command and he doesn’t have to do anything to make them except think. He can't teleport to far away places however unless he makes several portals in a row, like the equivalent to those flat escalators at airports xD

Can transform into any species. He'll mimic their look as well as any powers they may have, but the powers he copies may not be as strong

Has great mobility and can jump high. Can also run on all fours but not for a long period of time

Has great senses but they work best in calm environments. He especially picks up on fear well but this can trigger the bad side of him

Can see people through walls as faint blue/purple blobs

Can become a shadow or jump into existing ones. He's used this before to get out of situations he doesn't like

When he doesn't have a lot of energy, he can't use a lot of his abilities as efficiently

Likes

Friends/community, jokes (also 'secretly' likes memes), socializing, nature/animals, nighttime, exercise, scaring people, Halloween, fighting (against "worthy opponents"), TV, being lazy (occasionally), trying new things, raw meat, fire, being pet (just not in public since he doesn't want to be mocked. His fur is pretty soft and shiny)

Dislikes

Clothing (doesn't think he needs it), getting hurt, flashing lights (can hurt his eyes/disorient), chewy food (licorice is one, on top of not having a great flavor), ...

Other/Facts

★ His dad is still alive and sometimes tries to push Varg into being his old self again, to which Varg ignores. His dad is very powerful and evil and they both rarely interact 

★ He’ll sometimes explore the forests on his planet on his own and temporarily becomes like a wild animal (if not already one via his transformation ability). When he finds people camping he loves making scary noises and freaking them out. He also likes observing wildlife while roaming. His favorite animals are bears and wolves, or, pretty much any predator

★ At night he sometimes likes to scavenge around the cities, looking for things people have lost (has returned items before) or will check out dumpsters. One of his biggest peeves is wasted fresh food, and yes, he'll eat straight from the dumpster lol

★ Parts of his body/fur can glow brightly in the dark. His body emits small purple particles like an Enderman but they’re more faint. It can also emit a smoky/shadowy effect that becomes more concentrated when he's mad or disturbed

★ His horns are actually ears! They can move but stay relatively stiff
