an oc character based on the world of Naomi Novik's "Temeraire".  probably my favourite book series ever. 

I have a headcanon (that is mostly proven wrong by John Wampanoag) that North American dragon breeds have fur.

anyways i know that the norm is to make a dragon captain oc but honestly, um, i just want to be a dragon.

this guy is courier sized, average intelligence, not from a particularly valuable breed. hes pretty much a mutt. no one wanted to be his captain when he hatched, but he met someone a bit after hatching, after he got a construction crew job.

Anatomy wise he is a mix between a banded linsang and a fossa

his wings are based on fruit bats, and his paws are based on raccoon paws. He has a nearly opposable thumb. so he can grab things, but cant manipulate them quite as well as humans. 

He was based on a tuxedo cat i know, but his personality is more doggish. loyal to a fault. a bit dumb. his personality is a weir mix of a cat and a dog.
