An old woman walked into her grandson's bedroom. He was antsy, but he was to sleep. "I need a story to sleep." he whined. She hushed him. "I will tell you a tale... have I... told you the story of poor Adelaide Munroe?"

The boy shook his head and slipped under the covers to strap in for her story. She cleared her throat and began the tale.

"Dan and Jessie Munroe fell in love almost 20 years ago. They started a family in this town, the town of Nellion. The happy Munroe family. The wealthy. The content."

"Maria Munroe. Born 18 years ago into the happy Munroe family. The wealthy. The content."

The boy interrupted. "I've never heard of the Munroe family." he let out, and the grandmother raised an eyebrow as he spoke again. "But you said Adelaide is 11. Just like me. And she lived here. Just like me."

The grandmother nodded. "You notice how the house I have mentioned in my story still stands, but now it is in ruins?" The boy nodded. The grandmother did too. "Who did it?" the boy asked. The grandmother stood up, her story finished after her last sentence.

"Poor, sweet, mistreated Adelaide."

Adelaide seems to be a normal 11 year old, aside from her fancier outfits, but she isn't something you really want to deal with. She's not the same.
