Morgan is my former sona. I created Lizzy to use as a public sona/representation for my online avatar. That being said Morgan is still my main OC and always will be even if I flucate in her use.  She is one of my oldest OCs in terms of when she was made (around 2014/2015).

Information:

Name: Morgan

Age: 19 | Birthdate: May 6th, 2002

Height: 5'4" (162.6 cm)

Gender: Nonbinary - She/They - Asexual Aromantic

Species: Half-Dragon | Serial code: GP-2001-RF3DH98D588196H213696

Spotify playlisthttps://open.spotify.com/playlist/20FfGsLseRmsoUVe2UNBbH?si=MpZZnqbBSFOiOrYBwi2FXQ

Personality n Stuff: Morgan has a very short temper and this temper attributes to her distrust of people and unwillingness to cooperate. She often insults people that she does not like with little to no provocation and will become more aggressive the more threatened she feels. She hates any form of physical contact and hates making eye contact with others. She keeps her distance and tries not have attention drawn to her. She is short with her words; Only speaking when she needs to give or get information. This is not because she does not have the vocabulary but because she does not like talking to others and mainly communicates through body language or gestures. She is reluctant to answer any questions anyone asks her, both out of stubbornness and distrust. Any agressive or direct confrontation with her in a conversation may be met with an insult/profanity or she may shut down and walk away. She has very few friends because of her personality and mannerisms but she does have one very close friend: Terressa. She is often relaxed and happy around Terressa, comfortable enough to express herself openly when in Terressa's presence. Because how hard it is to earn her earn trust, Morgan will be very protective of her friends when they are in danger. Sometimes quite literally taking the bullet for them if need be. Definitely has some antisocial tendencies

Likes: pho, instant noodles, being left alone, watching the sky, oversized hoodies and clothes, the scent of fresh bread, flying (as a dragon), hunting, shielding but not confining spaces, barbecued meats, warm but breezy weather, dogs,

Background/Backstory Summary:

Morgan's mother (named Marissa) fled from the USBAC when she was pregnant with Morgan, living under the radar in hiding. She raised Morgan as a single mother living in a semi-remote home in wooded mountain hills (not 100% cut off from the world of course but in a very sparsely populated area so that the most common interaction she had with other people would be the mailman). Morgan (who hardly remembers her early childhood). Morgan was raised by her mother until the age of 7 and was only given the most bare bones of a home-schooled education. She could do basic reading, writing, and arithmetic but she did not finish elementary school. Morgan did not know she was half-dragon or genetically engineered in any way, she saw herself as a normal child. She did not ever experience or become aware of her dragon form whilst living with her mother. She was separated from her mother when the USBAC learned of her mother's location. The USBAC did not believe that Morgan was alive as her mother fled while still pregnant and half-dragons rarely survive childbirth but the USBAC wanted to hush Morgan's mother since Morgan's mother was a higher ranked researcher for them. During the raid on their home Morgan's mother was detained by the USBAC. Due to prior warning from security measures she set up, Morgan's mother managed to get Morgan to hide outside of the home before the USBAC arrived. This allowed Morgan to escape into the woods. Morgan was lost in the woods for almost 24 hours when she stumbled upon a road that she followed down the mountain hills and out of the woods.

It was on this road that she was discovered by Jason Moore who was driving was shocked to find a young child wandering the mountains. Jason managed to coax Morgan to stay in place with him while he called the police but before the police arrived Morgan told Jason that "scary people" had taken her mother he inquired on why she had been wandering. Morgan was convinced that these "scary people" were coming after her too and when Morgan described the men to Jason he decided to skip out on the police because of their description. Instead he took Morgan to his apartment in the city a few dozen kilometers west of the mountain hills. And so Jason essentially adopted Morgan for several years not alerting the authorities and only allowing a few of his closest peers to know of her existence. He became her surrogate father and furthered her education into middle school years though she struggled. She had some trauma from witnessing her mother getting taken away and fleeing but Jason helped her work through it all. Morgan had an almost normal childhood with him. It was with Jason she learned that she was not a normal human child, and he explained how the people that took her mother likely had something to do with her abnormal features according to his own theories. At some point while living with Jason she discovered her dragon form, a shock to them both. It did not affect their life as she rarely used it as she found it scary.

At around the age of 13, Morgan and Jason were caught in a serious car accident with some bad injuries. Jason permanently lost most use and sensation in his left arm and developed chronic back pain. Morgan received the worst injuries, most notably head trauma that led to memory loss and behavior changes. She remembers some portions of her life before the accident and key information but most of it is from prior to meeting Jason. This meant that she did not recognize or know Jason anymore. The brain damage she received greatly altered her personality and behavior. Whereas before she was a sweet, giddy, and gentle child now she was closed off and aggressive. A few weeks after the accident when her injuries had healed enough for her to be discharged, she ran away from home. She ran away because she was disoriented, not understanding what had happened and having to live with someone that from her perspective was a complete stranger. She no longer trusted others. All this panicked her and led her to leaving. Despite all his efforts Jason could not hunt her down and despite keeping her existence from authorities previously, he went to the police to report her missing. Since there was no record of her even existing the police did not follow up and so he was left to try to find her on his own.

Morgan lived on the streets for 3 years. As she was still a child she often ran into people that would try to help her or people who would call the authorities which led to her having to uproot herself and find a new spot to camp out. This also led to her being even more reclusive and distrusting around others. She kept herself on the move for quite some time but eventually found an abandoned building towards the edge of the city to squat in. Morgan had learned of her dragon form years before the accident around the age of 10 but she did not use it much until after the accident. Once she was on her own she began to rely on it. She mastered it about one year after the accident. She often used it in the city to travel across roof tops out of sight, staying low. Usually she only used it at night as to not be easily spotted and because it's scales blended into the night sky well. She would also get outside the city and use it to fly for entertainment over sprawling farm fields and patches of forest. Inevitably someone spotted her dragon form. As dragons are known of but seen as dangerous especially when living so close to humans dragon whoever spotted her reported the sighting. The claim was investigated by local animal control (as if they could do anything about a dragon lol) but nothing came up so it was labelled as a rumor or prank. Despite this the report caught the attention of the USBAC; a powerful government-backed organization. They took interest because they are always seeking new subjects to research and experiment on, and a dragon brave enough to live in a human settlement was most certainly intriguing to them.

The USBAC sent a team to investigate and and tracked down traces of her activity in dragon form (such as paw prints and claw marks) to the abandoned building she was squatting in. They set up surveillance on this building for a few days to see if this reported dragon would revisit the area. Morgan was entirely unaware of the organization's existence and presence. One night while her building was under surveillance she entered it in dragon form via a balcony: proving the reports and confirming evidence. The USBAC did not know she was a half-dragon yet. Especially since they closely documented all half-dragons in the United States and therefore did not think that one could possibly exist outside of their knowledge. But since she was born well out of sight and kept herself hidden they never picked up on her existence. Because they thought her to be nothing but a dragon they saw her behavior as highly unusual because dragons avoid humans let alone live in an abandoned building in a highly populated city. Especially since there is not enough food or space to sustain one properly. (Note: Morgan is 16 years old at this point).

With the confirmation of her location the USBAC organized to capture her with their specialized Capture & Containment unit (CCU). A few days later after the first sighting and learning the schedule she appeared to arrive on (they never saw her as a human leave the building as she took a back exit) they surrounded the building and access alleyways after she entered  the building (as a dragon). The area surrounding her home was already deserted before this, with only a few stray gangs and homeless people. This made it easy for the USBAC to maintain secrecy in the mission and they just turned around anyone who approached the street. Surrounded the building, a team of five men were sent in fully armed with high tech tranquilizers, stun guns, and live round pistols as a backup. They were to flush her out of the apartment, incapacitating her as much as possible as they did so. Morgan had been unaware of their plot but when she heard an usual amount of activity outside and then spotted suspicious vehicles through the gaps in the boarded windows she went on high alert. (In human form) She had been  hastily stuffing a backpack with all of her belongings when the team broke into the building. Hearing the door smash in and seeing a tear gas canister get tossed through the doorway she immediately switched into dragon form. Abandoning the back she jumped out of the building over the balcony where a second team of men were waiting for her as it was the only exit she could fit through as a dragon. There were also men on the rooves of the surrounding buildings with special heavy nets to keep her from flying away. Tumbling down into the alleyway under the balcony and landing next to the men she tried to run away on foot but the alleyway was blocked by vehicles on each end. Cut off she turned to fight but she had not noticed that as she was jumping out of the building she had been struck with tranquilizer darts and now they were taking affect.

Once unconscious she was loaded into a tractor trailer and transported to a nearby  low-security  USBAC facility not more than 10 miles outside the city limits that was disguised as a supply warehouse. With the majority of the building underground. When she awoke in a large and mostly empty containment room she began panicking. She vaguely remembered that the men that captured her also looked similar to that of her blurry memories from her childhood. For several days she remained in dragon form, being tested on and studied by various USBAC researchers. They did not pick up on the idea of her being a half-dragon for the most part. They tried communicating with her but she was stubborn and pretended to be a feral animal as best she could but the researchers could tell she was faking some of it. Eventually Morgan had enough of the poking and prodding and all of the stress she was enduring and plotted an escape. She knew that the USBAC did not know of her being half-dragon and decided to use it to her advantage by ambushing a USBAC worker that was cleaning her containment room while she pretended to sleep. She stole the worker's keycard and clothing, managing to sneak through the facility to a higher floor, about 2 below the ground floor. She was caught on this floor when guards recognized she was not part of members at that facility. At first they thought she was an enemy operative and tried to detain her but Morgan fought them off by returning to dragon form.

Her escape attempt was a failure as she was soon ooverwhelmed long before she reached an exit. After the discovery that she was a half-dragon she was immediately transferred to a higher security facility in the northwestern United States. This facility would conduct more vigorous tests, experiments, and even attempt to train her. It was here at this facility that she met other half-dragons for the first time. These half-dragons specifically were the head of security, Cody; guard and rogue Boa, and the leader of a capture unit, Jessica. Morgan first met Boa, who is a highly unpredictable and sadistic character. He immediately went to her cell and goaded her on to gauge her personality, in response Morgan assaulted him in human form with a punch to which in response he turned into a dragon. This was when she realized she was not the only half-dragon but before she could react Cody stepped in (as a human) and commanded Boa to back down, to which Boa hesitantly seceded. Somewhat shaken by the experience she just had Morgan began to question where she came from. She always had wondered why she was able to become a dragon but didn't think much of it as a whole. Before she could really consider it she was taken to be examined and then put through many tests. She resisted stubbornly every step of the way, which greatly irritated the researchers who were used to compliant and broken subjects.

The USBAC was mystified at first as to her origin but soon figured out that she came from the very same facility she was now held in. Apparently her mother used to work there. Morgan was oblivious to all this though. For weeks she toiled away inside the facility, slowly losing her fiery stubbornness. Higher ups had decided it was time to try and break her so that she would work for her like the other half-dragons, but because she had not been raised by the organization and manipulated by them it would be very difficult. Cody was assigned to her for this. During all of this she had refused to show them her dragon form, which held back a lot of data for researchers. Morgan was brought to a very large specialized room where she would be beaten by Cody until she was forced into a corner and used her dragon form to fight back. Cody used his dragon form to subdue her and she would be forced to obey him or else be severely punished as the USBAC tried to break her. Her stubbornness persevered through, and before she could be broken an opportunity came to her to escape.

An organization called the Refuge that fought against the USBAC finally discovered the location of the facility Morgan resided in, although they knew not of her presence and were planning to raid it for different reasons. When the Refuge attacked, Morgan was in her dragon form and attempted escape in the chaos but was badly injured in the crossfire. She did manage to fly out of the facility on her own but was only able to fly a couple of miles before passing out. Thankfully the Refuge managed to find her as they were leaving and took her back to one of their bases where they would patch her up. When she woke up in their base she was panicked, not only by her injuries but she also thought she had been recaptured by the USBAC which terrified her. It took some effort for staff at the Refuge to calm her down but eventually she was at least able to orient herself. This base is where Morgan would meet Terressa. Terressa's empathic and telepathic abilities meant she could understand Morgan despite Morgans inability to speak as a dragon. It also meant Terressa knew that Morgan was a half-dragon and not a regular one as Terressa could not understand the thoughts of normal dragons.

Other:  Morgan's skill in combat is subpar, as a human she often just resorts to kicking and biting her opponent. She does carry a knife with her, which she tucks in a back pocket when not in use. If she can, she will run away or hide instead of getting in a confrontation. When desperate or outnumbered she may switch to her dragon form and scare off or defeat the opponent. If this does not work she will fly away. Her dragon form may30531622_n4Kg1RZPyP5mq6J.png be physically strong but her lack of experience and skill means she does not have the ability to face off  against other dragons for very long. Morgan also has a congenital heart defect that causes her to easily run out of breath if exerting herself for more than a few minutes, but this is less apparent or debilitating in dragon form. She also has Kallmann Syndrome which has affected her sense of smell and has essentially prevented her from going through puberty, hence why she does not have breasts. She is also infertile both relating to Kallmann Syndrome but also all half-dragons are infertile regardless.

Morgan can remain in her dragon form for an indefinite amount of time but usually she does not stay in it for more than a few days at most, often only using it for a few hours at a time as there is more risk of being seen and reported the longer she remains a dragon in the open. Her dragon form is not an illusion in any way, it is indistinguishable from a regular dragon, even if one were to conduct scientific tests or check her dna in dragon form, it would not show any differences from a normal dragon. Her dragon form does not change in size with her age past puberty. Any injuries she sustains in her dragon form will be transferred to her human form if she reverts to human form before they are completely healed. Depending on the severity of the injury, transforming back to human may dangerously worsen or alter the degree of the injury and therefore she almost never returns to human form when significantly injured in dragon form.

Morgan behaves more animalistic than human in ways such as lack of verbal communication or aversion to human interaction but this does not mean she lacks intelligence in any way. While she spends an abundance of time in her human form, she prefers to be in her dragon form when possible or when she is away from people as she finds it more comfortable to be in as well as having the advantage of flight, fangs, and claws at her disposal if needed. She can not speak in any language, human or dragon, in this form. Human because her dragon form is not compatible for understandable human speech and dragon because she had never met a dragon long enough to learn it in any capacity and most dragons can not teach it as it is nothing like human speech and is indistinguishable from regular grunts or roars oftentimes.

It takes a great deal of effort to earn her trust, and even more so to earn her friendship. The only people who have earned her full trust is her friend Terressa, her adoptive father Jason, and a doctor named Matthew.

Morgan has a half-brother, who shares the same mother and is older than her by 2 years. Morgan's mother was a former research for the USBAC, it is unknown if she is still alive after being taken by the USBAC. Another note is since she was not born under the organization's supervision she was never given the microchip all half-dragons have and so later when captured they tattooed her ID code onto her instead.

She has many scars from various fights and accidents. Most of them are minor and not very noticeable. The underside/belly/chest plates on her dragon form are tough and thick but flexible. They are just thick and hard enough to stop most sharp, slashing, and melee wounds that one would get fighting another dragon or if running through thick bramble but they are not strong enough to stop puncture wounds such as a harpoon or bullet. One of the scars she has on her belly is from a bullet wound and it's left a gap in the plates that creates a weak point so if in a fight a dragon could dig it's claws in there and do some damage.
