It's your best friend horse! The only friend you'll ever need.

A media franchise of toys, cartoons and movies. The titular best friend horses are a variety of fantasy equines, and each has a summonable or castable power drawn from the magic mark on their chest. Every couple years, it gets a refresh. The latest one is their second attempt at 3d after trying it once before very briefly after the new millenium, and is only a few episodes into its run. It seems fine though.

The main cast of approximately 4~6 characters stays relatively consistent, though sometimes characters are merged, split, ommitted, added or otherwise jumbled. Some get out unscathed every time, like Merryweather or relatively new-er addition Battlemaster (who started out as a villain 3 iterations ago), but some really get the short end of the stick, like Bubblegum/Bubbles, who ends up the same guy as Sweet Tooth half the time.

The evil queen Nightlord, fan favourite animation error Greasfire, Quarterback and their basically-always-cut-from-the-lineup BFF Adam, Blood Sugar the vampire horse, Wizardwhirled the wizeman (who skipped an iteration due to being characterised as strangely bigoted in the last 3d rendition), as well as other less important characters like Milkweed, Tumbleweed, Chatterbox, Snowbank, Toboggan, Pepperspray, and Leon.
