Eleleth

Eleleth, better known as the Twilight Priestess, is a High Priestess working beneath Archbishop Leucoryx and a boss that can be encountered through the Wine Cellar if all wine barrels are destroyed following Oryx 2's demise. She is most commonly considered an alternative for smaller groups who are unable to access Oryx's Sanctuary.

Stoic, commanding, and excessively loyal, Eleleth is known distinctly by adventurers as the "Twilight Priestess" for the themed aesthetic of her appearance and attacks. She does not allow her real name to be known by anyone besides her closest allies. She is a resolute and powerful villain bordering on fearlessness, her unending devotion and willingness to commit atrocities in the name of her superiors having led her to the esteemed title of High Priestess. 

Originally a very poor woman, Eleleth was voluntarily drawn into Leucoryx's demonic cult when she first heard him speak at a sermon. Immediately swayed by his commanding and eloquent nature, she quickly became a devoted member, ultimately defining the Archbishop as her life purpose and following in his footsteps with the utmost loyalty. When their demon of worship was slain by Oryx, she was easily led into believing the drunken warrior was their true god, and remained fully committed to Leucoryx's cause. Through intense devotion and skill, she has wholeheartedly earned her superior's trust and thus a luxurious title by his side, a role she values highly. 

Perhaps rather strangely, she is not a deeply religious individual regardless of her status and behaviors. Her perception of most things is relatively neutral, and she does not hold many strong opinions or beliefs when it comes to god, the afterlife, or right from wrong. The source of all meaning and purpose for her is derived from Leucoryx himself, and he is the closest thing to a true god that she would inwardly accept. Despite this, she recites his teachings as though they are a memorized script, and does not falter in her religious acts, behaviors, or speeches. 

🌟 She is highly desensitized to extreme bloodshed as a result of Leucoryx's violent acts and sacrifices, which she engages heavily in herself. As a result of both this and his distinct teachings, she genuinely believes these sacrifices serve to rid the world of misguided, unruly beings, and that they are a captivating and necessary display of power and status.

🌟 When defeated, she experiences both disappointment and shame at having failed her superiors, and is inwardly rather hard on herself for it.

🌟 Her boss battle takes place in a single boss room that features a starry galaxy and seemingly transparent floors. 

🌟 She typically hovers when engaged in combat or utilizing her powers.

🌟 Much like the various enemies throughout the game, she is unable to permanently die due to Oryx's curse.
